Some people are lipstick junkies. Others are blush fanatics. Me? I’m an eye-shadow aficionado. When I find a new brand, the first thing I check out are their eye-shadows.
So, today I’m pleased to be bringing you a review of this

WHAT IS IT?
The Cuicu Flashing Diamond range is a series of 4.2 gram (0.15 oz) eye shadows, housed in black and transparent compacts. Unfortunately, there is no room for an applicator. They’re available in upwards of 25 shades and labelled as ‘professional make up’.
In all honesty,
Cuicu is quite a hard brand to dig up any further information about. The link on the packaging leads to an expired domain and the information on the packaging is written in Chinese, Korean and English, which makes it hard to guess the origin.
It’s manufactured in China.

If anyone can actually read the information on the back, I’d love to know what it says and whether any ingredients are listed in there anywhere.
The colour I’m reviewing today is Stone Green. I was tempted by a few other colours, but my make-up collection is really lacking dark greens.
‘Beauty left breathless’ is an interesting slogan. I can’t decide if it’s mysterious, charming or just plain sinister. Lol.
HOW DID IT PERFORM?
I didn’t have particularly high expectations for this eye-shadow, because a) I’d never heard of the brand and b) it’s only $4.85. In Australia, that’s exceedingly cheap. However, I have to say that Stone Green impressed me.
The colour is a gorgeous dark matte green (not sure why it looks slightly sparkly in my swatch) that I don’t have any dupes for. The texture obviously isn’t as buttery as a high-end product, but it isn’t chalky either. The formula’s better than I’d normally expect for this price bracket. There is a little bit of fall out upon application, but nothing too major.
And, as you can see, it’s quite pigmented, even without a base. It also blends easily.
I applied it to my lids using a NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk as a base around nine hours ago. Looking at it now, there is a little bit of fading, but no more than was experienced by the Inglot eye-shadow I paired it with. To me, that’s a pretty
commendable wear time.
