KKCenterHK - Cuicu Eyeshadow Review By rinicesillia

I know I seldom do a review of eyeshadow. Actually I have some on list but just lazy to swatch each colours on my hand ._.
But fear not, today I will share a review with you about an eyeshadow that I received from KKCenterHK . If you never heard about KKCenterHk, it's an online shop based on Hongkong that sells lots of eyelashes, makeup, wigs, nail, fashion and health care products. :D

Eyeshadow that I received is from the brand called Cuicu.

The name is Symphony Stereo 3-color eyeshadow, there are 12 options available but I got mine in no. 8.
At the back of the box, mostly written in Chinese, Korean, and English.

The packaging is quite simple, the transparent part allows you to see the colours inside.

Expired date is written at the bottom of the packaging.

There are dual-sided sponge applicator included inside. But there is no mirror, so it's a bit incovenient when needed to do touch up.

The colours are deep brown, bronze and gold. They are so pigmented :o And it's not too powdery. The most powdery one is the gold colour. As you can see from the swatches above, all contain shimmer. The most shimmery is the middle one.

So far so good. I don't have to use eye primer to make the colours pop out. It's really suitable for everyday look, I can use it for office look.

What I like:
 neutral colour
 travel friendly
 pigmented enough without eye primer

What I dislike:
 no mirror :(

✨ Purple Stars Are Shining ✨ by dinorahbaby

CUICU Symphony Stereo 3-Color Eyeshadow ( Stars are Shining )
Swatches of the trio
I did a really simple purple smokey eye. It's not super dramatic & can be worn for just about anything. The most dramatic thing here is probably the eyeliner lol. The purple in the trio is a bit of the silver side, so to amp up the purple in it, I used the Mabelline Color Tattoo "Painted Purple" as a base all over the lid before I put the shadows on. I used the white shimmer in the inner tear duct & the black to define the outer eye. This trio is from kkcenterhk & can be found here

Tutorial: CUICU Symphony Stereo by yamismakeup

As promised, here is a look I created using the CUICU Symphony Stereo 3 No.C3312-12 I received from KKCenterhk.

This is the finished look:

Products Used
- ELF Eyelid Primer
-CUICU Symphony Stereo 3 No.C3312-12
- Dolly Wink liquid liner
-Artistry mascara
-KKCenterhk ES A88 Lashes
-Wet n Wild white pencil eyeliner

Tutorial
1. Start with a primed eye. Then use a flat shader brush and apply the pinky purple color from the trio (or any similar color you may have) and apply it all over the lid.

2. Take a crease brush and apply the dark purple from the trio and apply it on the crease and outer V.

3. Then apply the same purple color on the outer half of the lower lash line. After that, apply the frosty white of the trio and apply it on the inner half.  (Sorry for the blurry picture. My camera was not cooperating!)

4. Lastly, apply liner, mascara, and falsies if you wish. These are what make the entire look come together.

More Pictures....

Very easy, right? ♥

Would you wear this look? Or is purple not your favorite?

KKCenterhk Review: CUICU Symphony Stereo 3 No.C3312-12 by yamismakeup

Hello dolls ♥

If you read my blog frequently, you should know that I LOVE purple. Purple is my favorite color and anything and everything purple catches my eye. When KKCenterhk asked me to review an eyeshadow trio, I immediately choose the purple trio. This trio is from the brand CUICU (it seems to be a Koren brand).

Price and Availability
$5.58 on the KKCenterhk website.
Fairly inexpensive for a trio.

Packaging
It comes in a small, sturdy, plastic container with one sponge tip applicator. It can be a little difficult to open. Not the best container, but it works.

Swatches
Swatched dry once on bare skin.

Product Review

As you can see from the swatches, they are very nicely pigmented. The are smooth, and hardly have fall out. When swatched, they seem a little crumbly, but they don't apply crumbly. It is a little odd. The colors included are a frosty white,  a frosty purple toned pink, and a deeper red toned purple.
The shimmery white is the least pigmented and the darker purple is the most pigmented of the three. The dark purple is a slightly more purple and more pigmented version of MAC's Nocturnelle eyeshadow.
The three colors work together very well, especially the  two purples.
I am surprised I loved all three color together since they are all pretty frosty colors (I will do a tutorial for a look using this trio).

Verdict
I am very surprised by this trio. I didn't think much about it at first because it looked cheap. I also thought the colors would be very sheer. I was really wrong! I guess that teaches me not to judge a book by its cover! The only thing I really have against the product is the packaging. It is irritating to say the least because it is so difficult to open. But the eyeshadows themselves are amazing. Like I said, the dark purple is very close in color to MAC's Norturnelle but it has a much better color payoff. From that alone you can see that these are not cheap in quality.

Rating: 9/10

Look with this trio coming soon!
