Zilele trecute am purtat o manichiura de care am fost tare mândră pentru că mi-a fost admirată de multă lume.

Am fost ajutată de http://www.kkcenterhk.com/ , care mi-au oferit aceste Water Decals foarte drăguţe. Eu mi-am mai ales şi o folie multicoloră , dar n-am reuşit să-i dau de cap din păcate. Foarte rău îmi pare! Dar nu renunţ şi încerc să fac o manichiura ,,wow”

Scuzaţi-mi mâzgâliturile, dar m-am chinuit mult să şterg surplusul de ojă. Nu mi-a ieşit perfect deloc… Pe cât e de frumoasă tehnica bureţelului, pe atât e de ….messy!

Review: KKCenterHk - N.NAIL Water Decals Pirate Skull by justtisems

Today my nails are sporting a water nail decal sheet that I received from KKCentherHk.  It's anN.NAIL Water Decals Pirate Skulls [WDBLE373].  I decided the pirate skulls would be nice since Halloween is just around the corner, and my son loves pirates.

I seriously love water decals!  They are super easy to use and do not take much time at all to put it on.  If you are unsure how to use them you could see a quick tutorial of it on another water decal review I have done: HERE.

The Pirate Skulls are nicely done, and you could see the images clearly.  There are five different designs on the sheet, and you get twenty images.  You do not have to use one image for all of your fingers.  You could actually mix it up.  Say an accent nail for a pirate themed nails for example. 

I decided to do saran wrap nails for the base.  If you are not sure how to do a saran wrap nails you could see a great tutorial of it on Nailed It's blog.  For the accent nails it was another saran wrap technique until I ended up putting another polish over it and basically it nulled it.  BOOHOO oh well though!  And after sealing it with a top coat I placed a matte top coat over it.  I actually loved it more matte than it was shiny!

I find that these Pirate Skulls are perfect in size:  not too big or too small.  You could still do a lot of nail art around your nail bed even with the water decal upon it.  You could see the details upon them very clearly and I found no mistakes what so ever with the print.

KKCenterHk Skulls by chitchatnails

When I initially learned that KKCenterHk was interested in collaborating with me (and allowing me to select a few product for review), I KNEW instantly that I wanted to try THIS VERY item

I created this look using Rock Skull Water Decals from KKCenterHk

This package contains 25 pastel Rock Skull water decals.  These water decals are NON-Sticky so when you go to apply them onto your nail (I put together a water decal application photo-tutorial HERE) they are VERY easy to position/slide into place before you seal them into place with a topcoat.

I started out by painting my nails various shades of pastel that I thought would compliment the Rock Skull water decals.  I used Colour Alike Drwiny z Cytyryny, Cult Nails Devious Nature and Color Club Take Me to Your Chateau.

I placed the water decals (one at a time) into a small bowl with lukewarm water submerging them completely.  After 20 seconds I used tweezers to remove the decal from the water and gently slid it off of the white backing and onto my nail (once base polish was FULLY dry).  I then dabbed the decal dry with a kleenex before applying a topcoat.  I will shamefully admit that I rushed the process a little.  I was sooo excited at how my ‘vision’ was coming alive that I rushed the drying-topcoat process and the decals cracked a little.  In retrospect, this adds to the overall effect IMO, but know that this is NOT a product defect, but rather a user error (I calmed down/learned my lesson by the time I applied the black skull)
I really liked the way this turned out.  As an after thought I chose to add the small white rock skull over the stripes… just to see if the water decals would be opaque enough over darker surfaces (and in my opinion they are )

For the accent nail I painted a strip of each of the base shades and allowed them to fully dry.  I then placed BornPrettyStore striping tape over each of the colors and painted one coat of Cult Nails Nevermore (once my entire nail was painted black I quickly removed the striping tape to reveal the colors below ).

You tell me! Aren’t these the most awesome little water decals EVER?!  They would be perfect for Halloween, but I think they are ROCKIN’ for any time of the year! Teal Tuesdays - Black/White/Tealicure by gnarlygnails

It's me again! Today you get a three-fer of me!
But anyway - it's Tuesday, so you shoulda known this was coming!

The basis of this mani were some Spiderweb Water Decals I received to review from KKCenterHk. These come in a pack of 20 decals, enough for 2 full manicures or much much longer if you only use them as accent designs! How cute are these?!?! They come in white or black and retail for $2.82

The water decals are super easy to use - you just cut off your design from the sheet, remove the plastic piece on top and drop in water for like 10 seconds, then the decal just slides off of its backing with your finger, press your finger to your nail and it's on! Then top coat as normal!

My base gradient is done using Wet n Wild/Fergie Miami Spirit and Zoya Dovima.

I don't care for spiders or spider designs, but these were pretty cool!

Cute Skull Water Decals by sincerelystephanienails

Morning! Continuing on in my Halloweek of Halloween themed nails, I've got some cute Skull Water decals to share with you that you could rock all year round.

I first saw these water decals on ChitChat Nails and thought they were quite possibly the cutest things I had ever seen. So when KKCenterHK gave me another opportunity to review some or their products, I jumped at adding these decals to my list!

I literally put these on the day that I received them in the mail and got waaaaay to excited and started cutting them all up before I had a chance to take a picture of the packaging, so here is what the sheet looks like courtesy of KKCenterHK!

You can't tell me these aren't insanely adorable! Since there are 5 different skulls I wanted to use a different on on each nail to show them all off. I had also recently gotten an awesome package from Hannah of Polly Polish, which included the amazing GOSH Holographic Hero and knew that I would be showcasing that in these nails.

Gah! I seriously can't get over how adorable these are! I am smitten with them.

Before I started polishing I cut up the sheet so that 10 of the decals (2 of each design) were on their on little square. I wanted to make sure I didn't mess up my base coats while using the scissors. Then I laid them out in the order of the nails that I wanted to use them on. I also grabbed a shot glass and filled it up with water and my tweezers were close at hand.

I used Holographic Hero on my thumb, middle and ring nails. On my index I used Essence Ultimate Pink and on my ring nail I used NYC Lexington Yellow. Then I was looking at my nails and the decals and it seemed like there was going to be a lot of holo so I grabbed some striping tape and striped off my pinky and then added one coat of Essie Bikini So Teeny. Then I started placing the decals in the water for about 10-15 seconds with the tweezers, then pulling them out and pushing the decal off the paper backing and onto my nail. You've got about a 20 second window to move the decal around until you're happy with it and then it will start to adhere to the nail. These worked perfectly! Absolutely no complaints. Except on my pinky, I slid it off and I hadn't waited long enough for the polish to dry so that's why it got stuck in an off kilter position. So make sure your base colour is completely dry before you start dipping your decals into the water. I also thought my thumb was looking a little bare so I added the bones with a black creme and a striping brush and dotting tool.

I'm still wearing these beauties as I type this up and will only be removing them tonight because I have been wearing them for 4 days and I'm getting a few chips.

Happy Hump Day!!  This week has been going by so slowly, I think it's because I was off on Monday and I usually take days off on Friday, so my weeks all messed up!  Will Friday ever come?

I've got a long overdue review of some cute skull water decals I received from KKCentrehk for review.  You may remember from my EPIC 100 Follower Giveaway, that KKCentrehk was kind enough to provide some cool stuff for my giveaway - the alphabet stamping set, won by Becca from Nail Narcotics and the cute gold peacock water decals, won by Maggy from the Daily Lacquer.  Becca did this fabulous mani, dedicated to her favorite nail artist - moi, lol, you can take a peek, here.

Anyhoodle, onto the review - I picked the Rock Skull Water Decals, because they are so darn cute.  I was a little intimidated to use these, one, because they are so cute, I didn't think I could do them justice and two, because I was worried they would be SUPER difficult to apply.  Totally not the case - I have to say, I'm super surprised at how easy these were to use.  All you do is cut out the decal you want to use, soak it in a bit of water and carefully slide the decal from the paper.  You have to make sure your nail is dry and not super soaked like I did on my first try.  The decal won't stay on a wet nail so I had to take it off and make sure my nail was dry.   I just held the decal in my other hand and dried off my nail, super easy.  Once it was dry, I placed the decal and fiddled a bit to get rid of wrinkles and VOILA!  I didn't use tweezers and I don't think I would when I use these again.  I think these are sturdy enough if you are gentle to withstand the handling.
