Soulstice Spa - Monterey + KKCenterHk Review by whimsicalglam

I have another review to do for KKCenterHk, and instead of water decals this time they are "Printing Modes". I had no clue what they were at first, but they are essentially nail stencils. You paint a base colour on your nails, apply the sticker, paint over it, and remove the sticker to leave behind the design.

I chose these lilies to review, and immediately thought of doing a Quebec flag themed mani. While they aren't quite fleurs-de-lis, I figured they would look close enough if I used the right colours (Soulstice Spa - Monterey & Sally Hansen - White On).

I actually like these more than I thought I would. They seemed like they would be finicky and a lot of work but one hand took less than 5 minutes. I did have trouble with the placement just because not only are my nails short but they are just plain tiny. My only complaint about the stickers is that they are a bit big, maybe too big for some people (like me). I had used up all the smaller ones (there are a few sizes included to fit all your nails) before moving onto the next hand. However, if you have longer nails I don't see you having a problem with the sizes of the stickers.

For $2.67 you get a package of 12 stickers (2 extra in case you mess up) and you can find them HERE.

Review:KK center Hk by pasionstarbutterfly

 hello gorgeous dolls

Today i have a review for you from a company called kk center hk . They gave me the option to select a few items i wanted to try and here is what i went with. I wanted to experiment with items i had never tried before.  Let me just say that there website is not only very affordable but it varies in all things beauty. Its a one stop shop!! I was very excited to receive my items here is what i chose...

2 Nail printing
2 Nail Water decals

On the back of both nail printing packages they came with a how to on applying them.
So here was the first item i tryed (purchase here -> http://www.kkcenterhk.com/p6521/Nails-printing-mode-Three-Butterfly-Pattern-Nail-Printing-Mode/product_info.html )

Let me say this was my first time doing these and it was a fail. You must follow all directions on the back of the package and work rather quickly remember to always let your base coat completely dry. See i missed the step where after applying the sticker quickly polish over and then quickly remove.  I was letting it sit for a while and then when i would go to remove it, it wasn't coming off.. As you can tell from the picture below the butterfly barely came out!

For my second try i did the star printing (purchase here -> http://www.kkcenterhk.com/p6536/Nails-printing-mode-Pentacle/Star-Nail-Printing-Mode/product_info.html )

I made sure to follow all the rules this time, step by step. It was so much easier.

However i just wish i would of used darker colors to show up better but i enjoyed doing my nails with these after getting the hang of it. It turned out to be very easy and fun!

Now for the water decals i had heard of but never tried. Can i just say im officially addicted!! I will purchase more from their website they just were so easy to do and i loved the outcome both times!!

My first try was with the french tip flowers (purchase here -> http://www.kkcenterhk.com/p3996/N.NAIL-Water-Decals-French-Tip-Nail-Art-WDB061/product_info.html )

Need i say more? I was so inolve with my nails i could not stop looking at them!!! In person they looks so unique and gorgeous i swear i was all conceded with them haha..  It was so fun to apply as well they are like tattoos! but for nails...

Second was the regular water decals almost like stickers but not? Haha because they weren't full nail water decals or french tip style. They were just accents to bring out your nails.
They were like chains surrounded in stars. (purchase here -> http://www.kkcenterhk.com/p4983/N.NAIL-Water-Decals-Nail-Art-WDBLE387/product_info.html )

Cute right?

I seriously have no bad things to say about this company Maggie was a sweetie to work with answered all my questions. I recieved my package fairly quickly considering it came from Hong kong. I am so happy with all the items i got none of them were bad quality and like i said before packaging is everything so when a company goes as far as to put a step by step on how to do the design it just makes things 100 times more likeable.

As shown above i have inserted all links as to where you can purchase these items as well as check out their website. Trust me your going to love it!
overall 5 out of 5 butterflies

And guess what girls?!! Maggie has provided me with a coupon code for all my readers!! YAYY!!

Coupon amount : 10% off
Coupon code: pasionsstarbutterfly
Coupon ends: Jan. 31st 2013

ITS valid all year! So you can purchase more than once!! How awesome is that..

I want to thank kk center hk for sending me these items. And Maggie for being there to answer all my questions. If you guys decided to order please share what you got! Id really love to see. I hope you girls enjoyed these looks just as much as i enjoyed creating them for you all. Which one was your favorite? Stay tuned for a how to on applying water decals.

Monday, May 21, 2012 Mickey Mouse Nails by questjen

Hey loves, I have a very quick review of these nail prints I received from KKCenterHK. Basically they're nail art stencils which stick to the nail and peel off after use.

US $2.67

Quite a messy NOTD, I apologise!
So the instructions are really simple to follow despite there being spelling and grammatical errors but... you get what they mean haha.
As seen in the first picture, the Mickey Mouse faces didn't come out as nice as I wanted them to :( I am to blame for that, not the sticker prints. I really do lack artistic skill T-T
If the design is too simple for your liking, you can add your own stickers to it like I did. I transformed Mickey Mouse into Minnie Mouse hehe! Using pink bow nail stickers I had stored away.
I think it's cuter like this ^~^
Or it can be a pink bow tie for Mickey, naww keke
I am going to address the tips from the description on KKCenterHK's page for this product. Please don't mind the grammatical errors - I don't feel that it's my place to edit them:
'The nail polish that fill the hole of pattern do not be too thick'
My first attempt on my left hand was quite frustrating! I applied the nail polish a bit too thick and that was when disaster occurred. The picture you see above is of my left hand and Mickey's faces are so faint due to my clumsy application. It has to be thin to work properly!
'It may be deformation after tearing off the sticker'
Deformed Mickey mice? For sure. I hated peeling off the sticker because it didn't all come off in one piece because of the 'hole' in the pattern. So as you can imagine, I peeled it off bit by bit and wet nail polish went all over my fingers argh! The instructions say to 'peel off the sticker fairly immediately' and that was what I did. I wanted to wait until the nail polish was dry so that it wouldn't go everywhere but bad luck, I wasn't instructed to do that.
Pros
+ Cheap
+ Good for people who have trouble drawing patterns
+ Easy to use
+ A quick process overall
+ Free to choose which colour to have for the pattern (unlike nail stickers)
Cons
- Only 11 sticker prints
- Not enough room for mistakes
- Cannot be reused
- Stickers rip easily due to the hole pattern and being too thin
- Pattern may not come out that nice (slightly 'deformed')
- Some may find it rather time consuming compared to painting a pattern or using stickers

Perhaps if I had the chance to try these again, I would have a more positive experience with them and my application may improve. My clumsiness got the better of me this time! I feel that this is really similar to nail stamps which are also pretty cool however I just suck at using nail stamps with templates. The choice between nail stamps and these prints is easy though - I would prefer these because the pattern shows up on my nails whereas with nail stamps I find that it's quite hit and miss.
I wouldn't discourage purchasing these. If you're curious in trying these then you should definitely go right ahead. They're fairly inexpensive and who knows, you might end up liking them way more than I do :)
You can purchase them here or other patterns and with a discount code, you can get 10% off!
Code: BLGB345JL10

I made such a mess while I was doing my nails (referring to the wet nail polish incident going all over my fingers while peeling) and while I was cleaning up I remembered that I recently received these in the mail:
Kleenex Slim Wallet Tissue Packs!
6 funky designs
They're incredibly thin
This one matches my jeans perfectly =]
Proof of it fitting into my front pocket
Not only are these Kleenex Slim Packs perfect for pockets but they're also great for handbags - they don't take up much room and because of their colourful designs, they're so easy to find! This saves me from rummaging through my bag just to find a tissue :D
And they're literally perfect for my pocket - priced from $2.69 RRP which is not bad at all. The tissues are 3 ply to give you extra strength and absorbance compared to regular tissues. They're great *two thumbs up*
I will be posting again very soon (maybe much sooner than you suspect) so please keep your eyes peeled for my next post which will feature me and other things hehe =D
It's my final day of being 18... what should I do?
♥ Jen

Pink Butterflies NOTD & Nail Printing Mode Review by pretty--wonderful

Hey everyone, hope you're all well! Today's post is going to be a review/nails of the day post of a fun and pretty, pink & white nail design I did the other day - hopefully this will brighten up your day, like it dos mine, it's raining soo bad here in England :(
NPM-M014 Butterly Pattern Nail Printing Mode

NPM-M014 Butterly Pattern Nail Printing Mode

LEFT: Before - two coats of Barry M 'Pink Flamingo' RIGHT: After - 1 thick-ish coat of Barry M's 'Matt White' and NPM-M014 Butterly Pattern Nail Printing Mode
I was kindly offered by KKCenterHK to possibly review another of their nail products and because I loved my nail water decals so much, I jumped at the chance to try out another new way of fun and easy nail art - this time with a 'Nail Printing Mode';
NPM-M014 Butterly Pattern Nail Printing Mode
In case, like me, you are new to these, they are basically little stencils for your nails that come in the form of a sticker, so they can easily stay in place whilst you paint over the already cut out design. If you want a more detailed explanation, then have a read of the above image on the right.^^
So the idea and process of these is incredibly simple - just peel off the design, dab the sticker a few times on the back of your hand to remove excess adhesive, align the design in the position you want it on your nail, paint over, and finally remove the stencil. Voila! You have a cute design on your nail in a very short amount of time with very little effort, not much mess and no fancy tools!
I liked using mine and loved the simple concept of these, but I did find them a bit fiddly to work with and a couple of mine ripped through the edge whilst I was sticking it to the back of my hand to removes excess glue, which completely ruined the design and wasted a few of my stickers. But, the instructions do say to stick it to the skin side of your finger, not necessarily the back of your hand, so maybe that has something to do with it? I dunno. I would also say that these are definitely a trial and error kind of things, as at first my designs didn't come out too well (some wouldn't be very precise for example), but once I got the hang of it, the designs came out a lot better. One final fault I would say is that you cannot use these more than once, as they get quite messy and curl up once used, but they are not expensive, so that isn't too bad.
Pros
- Very simple to do
- Not very messy to do
- Inexpensive
- No fancy nail art tools required
Cons
- One time use product
- Can break easily if not careful
Conclusion
Overall I quite liked these, again, I think they are great for people like me, who want to achieve nice nail art designs but lack the funds, skill and tools to achieve such. I was annoyed that a few broke, but, like I say that could have been due to my carelessness. I would try these again, but I much preferred the nail water decals than these.
Rate & Reccommens
I rate these a 6.5/10 solely because a few snapped, they are 1 time use, rather fiddly and not all designs came out very nice. However, I probably would recommend others to try these, as long as they are careful and take their time doing it, so that you achieve very neat designs. Personally, I prefer the nail water decals.

naklejki na paznokcie by theagnes87

Pierwsza z nich to tzw szablon do wzorków:

BUZIACZKI :*
