Girly Girl Nail Art Challenge - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (with Ebalay Crackle Nail Paint) By ourexternalworld

This is the last week of the Girly Girl Nail Art Challenge. And the theme this week isGirls Just Wanna Have Fun

I decided to have some fun with the Ebalay Crackle Nail Paint that I got fromKKCenterHK.com
Girly Girl Nail Art Challenge - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (with Ebalay Crackle Nail Paint)

The nail paint from Ebalay is a lovely flesh pink shade - it is a very pretty shade numbered 028. Now this is a crackle nail paint which basically means it cracks on your nails as it dries up.

Now to have some fun what I basically did was took a deep mehroon base and put this on top - the effect - it seems like my nails have bloody flesh on them. OK now don't feel disgusted by the description - this nail art could come in very handy for Halloween :)

KKCenterHK - Polishes! by beautylitfromwithin

I recently had the opportunity to review some polishes for KKCenterHK, and I was excited and a bit skeptical.  I didn't recognize any of the brand names, and I remember all too well that experience with that Nanacoco polish...

I was a little worried when the first polish that I opened actually broke in transit.  The polish bottle was shrinkwrapped, though, so it didn't get all over anything. I was able to salvage the polish for swatching, though I suspect the texture was a little thicker than it would have been if it weren't opened.

Ebalay Dark Orange Gold Dust is a completely unique polish to my stash, and I thought it was just gorgeous.

This is the polish that broke, so the brush is a little sticky, but I wanted you to see how thick it is.  Not as thick as an OPI, but definitely not skimpy.

Its a full-coverage glitter; this is two coats, no undies.  I love that it's not a bright Halloween orange, more of a cooked sweet-potato orange, so perfect for the whole Fall season.

The second polish I chose was this Myviven LC11 Sapphire polish. The brush isn't as wide as the Ebalay brush, but it's still thick enough to get the job done, and no wonky mop-tops here.

You've heard me rave about the dusty colors this season, and I chose another one, but look at that shine.

I'm really impressed with this brand so far.  The formula was every bit as nice as the local heavy-hitters.  Smooth, shiny, self-leveling.

This polish was my fave of the bunch, and is probably one of my all-time favorite glitters now.  This is Myviven PA16, Metallic and Purple dots glitter.

This is another opaque glitter, two coats.  I love the unexpected bits of purple in this metallic gold base.  Pictures just don't do it justice.  This felt like a great handmade polish to me -  in formula, the amount of purple glitter, and the way it just glided on.

Over this gorgeous glitter, I tested ..... a crackle.  I admit it, I wouldn't have chosen a crackle of my own volition.  I never got much into crackles - they never worked well for me, or were worth the effort.  I was pretty sure I wasn't going to like this one, either, so I just ordered a color I thought would look nice.

This is Myviven BA05 Cracked Misty Purple over the Metallic Purple Dots.  It actually cracked! I rarely have had a crackle polish crack enough to see the polish underneath, so this one is definitely a winner.

Nice color saturation, and a matte finish which looks great over the glitter.

I decided to put undies under the last Myviven polish, though I didn't need to.  This is Sally Hansen in Right Said Red.  Loved the formula, but the red was a little too cherry-leaning for me to love. I tend to like blue-toned reds more.

Over Right Said Red, is MyViven SG06 Copper Dots, a golden glitter with large and small hexes. "Copper" is a little misleading.. it's more of a champagne gold.

You could probably build this to opacity in 3 coats, but this was more of a dabbed on 1, maybe 1 and a half coats.

If you haven't tried these Ebalay or Myviven polishes from KKCenterHK, I think they're worth getting.  The formulas were all great, easy to use, good payoff, and looked gorgeous.

I don't think I'd call this color Emerald, really, since Emeralds are more of a deep green color. The color itself is more of a minty teal or seafoam green color.
As far as application goes, similar to the Pink version that I also have, this also has a fairly thick consistency, and if you apply it too heavily it can appear to be quite messy. It dries with a matte finish, and holds pretty well without chipping or flaking.

Overall, I quite like it. It's a soft, pastel like color, and since I've been falling in love with pastels lately, it's been a really fun and bright color to have in my collection. Personally, I think it looks better over a light nude base, but I couldn't find my nude polish.
Side by side with the Baby Pink color.
The price is fairly average, nothing special, but for the colors I'd definitely recommend them. :D

Lakier pękający EBALAY by paznokcie-kamilkamilka

Postanowiłam zestawić go z niebieskim dla fajnego kontrastu.

Sponsored Post: EBALAY Baby Pink Styling Cracked Nail Polish by lapindelune

The item in this review was kindly provided to me by KKCenterHK in exchange for review. All opinions stated are my own.
Hello my lovely readers!
Today's review is of a nail polish which was sent to me from KKCenterHK.
Price: $7.67 for one 15ml bottle
From KKCenterHK's site:

Net Capacity: 15ml
Suitable For Every Lady
I chose this color first of all because I'm addicted to pink. Specifically, soft, creamy pinks, like this one. The color itself is quite beautiful, a nice soft pink like something you'd see on a baby's blanket. Kind of like...strawberry milk, and it matches my pink eyeglasses! Huuhu. The formula is fairly thick, not quite jelly though, it's more... well, milky (how suitable!).
I'm TERRIBLE at painting my nails, so I apologize. ;P
The first thing I learned about this nail polish was that unlike some crackle polishes, which I can sometimes apply on semi-dried nails and still get a good effect, be sure that your nails are completely dry! If not, you risk this polish pulling up the base color while it dries. Crackle polishes amuse me. They're kind of like watching shrink wrap when you blast it with warm air (I used to help my friend package video games and systems in his gaming store, so I'm too familiar with this xD). That's the best description I can think of when I think about how this polish dries.
You can kind of tell on this photo, when the polish dries, it kind of slightly removes the bottom layer of polish, which in my case was black.
Oh! And though it doesn't say it on the packaging or website, this polish has a matte finish. I love matte finishes, but since I don't have any matte polishes right now, I just used a top coat so it would match. Although if you can tell in the photo above, my pink and middle finger don't have a top coat, you can kind of see the dullness of the matte, though I like that.
Overall, if you apply the polish on completely dry nails, it has a nice effect. Don't be a noob like me and apply them on semi-dry nails, you could ruin them and have to start over! At $7.67 per bottle, it's affordable and average cost, worth the price I think.

KKCenterHK – We are your “First Choice” – großer Online-Shop für Beauty in Hong Kong by chris-tas-blog
