Lakkozz! Fotózz! Posztolj! - Virágok by wish-for-beauty

Mivel nekem ez az első alkalmam a Lakkozz! Fotózz! Posztolj! kezdeményezésben, így gondolta nem árt, ha megosztom veletek, mi is ez pontosan. Annyi a lényege, hogy mindig van egy aktuális házigazda, aki által megadott (jelenleg a virágok) témában kell készíteni manikűrt, lefényképezni, majd kiposztolni a konkrét időben. A legjobb benne, hogy bárki, bármikor csatlakozhat! :) Ugyan ez már az ötödik forduló, eddig valahogy kimaradtam IsaBella újabb nagyszerű kreatív kezdeményezéséből, amiről egyébként pontosabban itt olvashattok.

A mai téma nem más, mint a virágok, ami a jelenlegi háziasszony, Panka fejéből pattant ki. Igazából erre kaptam fel egyből a fejemet, gondoltam épp ideje elővennem a virág mintájú körömmatricákat. Remélem nem érzitek 'csalásnak', hogy most nem kézzel festettem, de ez egy remek alkalomnak tűnt, hogy végre kipróbáljam. Egyébként ismét egy skittlette manikűrt láthattok tőlem, ugyanis most szívem csücske ez a 'technika', hiszen végtelenül egyszerű, de olyan mutatós és egyedi manikűröket lehet így készíteni. Színek terén próbáltam a harmóniára törekedni - a megszokott rózsaszín helyett azonban most a barackosabb árnyalat felé kacsingattam. 

A krém finishű lakk egyébként saját kreálmány, ehhez a manikűrhöz kevertem össze a neon Moyra lakkomat egy narancsos-korallos NYC lakkal. A végeredmény egy vibráló, neonos korall, nekem nagyon tetszik és imádom, ahogy ez a neon árnyalat ellensúlyozza a finom, barackos homoklakkot. Valahogy mégis érzem az összhangot. A vizes körömmatricával azonban sajnos meggyűlt a bajom.. nem hittem volna, hogy nem fog sikerülni a felhelyezése, de valószínűleg valamit nem jól csináltam, mert sehogy sem akart a körmömre ragadni. Végül a körömfóliához kapott ragasztó után nyúltam segítségért, ezzel már sikeresen fel tudtam applikáltni a körmeimre. Természetesen még fogok próbálkozni vele, nem is értem, elsőre miért nem úgy viselkedett, ahogy kellene.

ROSES NAIL WATER DECALS by crissiesmind

Hello everybody!

Today's manicure is a french manicure because I've realised I havent's had one on my nails for a very long while and I was curious how it would look on almond nails. As much as I loved the french manicure, which I shared with you on Instagram (go follow me ☺), I can't say the same about the result you see in the pictures. Don't get me wrong, the water decals are incredibly beautiful and I'm sure they'd look stunning on a square nail french (which I will definitely try); I'm just not sure if they work with round/ almond nail in general. Except for this, I liked them. They were easy to use.

Skittlette fleurie by cocosnailss

Aujourd'hui je viens vous voir avec une manucure que j'ai bien aimé porté, malgré sa simplicité (parce que j'ai pas fait grand chose en fait :p) ^^ Et puis... je l'ai complété copié sur la belle et talentueuse polonaise Paulina, du blog Fallinnaillove, cette fille, c'est impossible de lui trouver des défauts. Ses ongles ont une forme parfaite, ses photos sont magnifiques, et son talent et sans limite ! 

Du coup, quand j'ai vu cette manucure, et que kkcenterHK m'a proposé de choisir à nouveau 2 articles sur leur site, j'ai choisi aveuglément les même waterdecals. En fait, j'ai assez peur de choisir des WD, d'ailleurs ceux que je vous présente aujourd'hui n'ont rien d'exceptionnel sur leur papier... mais posés ils sont assez cool je trouve! Tout ça pour dire, que, j'ai fait ma grosse copiiiiieuse avec ce que je vous présente aujourd'hui^^

Les WD restent assez simples à poser, et ont l'avantage d'être "maniables", donc repositionnables pendant plus longtemps que de simples patchs/tatoos ^^ Pas bien dur, on découpe celui qu'on veut poser, puis on le trempe 30 secondes min. dans un bol d'eau. Ensuite, on le retire de l'eau et on le décolle délicatement de son papier. Puis on le pose (j'avais mis Blanc d'Essie au préalable, vu que ces wd sont plutôt transparents). Simplissime.

Vous pouvez d'ailleurs les trouver juste là, et n'oubliez pas le code de réduction "cocosnails" pour 10% :)

Pour ce qui est des autres ongles, j'étais partie sur un dégradé, mais il s'est avéré supra laid, du coup j'ai carrément copié Paulinajusqu'au bout, et en ai profité pour enfin poser Wisteria de piCture pOlish (ancienne version, car apparemment, ils le reformulent!). Quelques strass et voilà !

 Sur mon autre main, j'ai posé Watermelon de piCture pOlish à la place de Wisteria (pas par choix, mais au début, avant que le dégradé échoue, c'était Watermelon qui était sur mes ongles , et j'ai eu la flem de dissolver ma main droite^^).

Et en fait, je trouve que ça donne un autre style à ces fleurs, d'être entourées de rose et non de violet ! Ca fait plus été même!

Alors vous m'en voulez pas trop d'être une grosse copieuse? Je pense que ce sera pas au goût de toutes, ça reste des fleurs très particulières, mais je reviens avec des décos graphiques très vite :)

Vintage Rose and Polka Dots by poppingnails

The other week I got these rose water decals from KKCenterHK and I've been looking forward to using them ever since. Water decals are definitely something I like using unlike the wraps I tried the other day so I think you might be seeing more water decals on my blog in the future.

I used Topshop Blank as my base colour which is a really nice cream off white I got a few weeks ago. I then used Barry M Black for the lines and the polka dots and then applied the water decals to my thumb, index and ring fingers. I knew I wanted to try these decals when I saw them as they are blue roses which I think is really different. This is a fairly small pack but there are a lot of images on the sheet so there are plenty left once you have used them on your nails so they'll last for multiple designs.

These decals come on a clear background so if you were to use these on top of a dark polish, the design might not show up very well as the white that can be seen in the image above is just the paper that they are on. Luckily I used a cream polish as my base so they showed up well so be mindful of this when you use them.

I really like these decals and I think the blue rose is such a nice design to use and can create some really unique designs. KKCenterHk N.NAIL Water Decals Review by thepolishrainbow

Today I have a KKCenterHk product to present to you: N.NAIL Pink Rose Flower Nail Water Decals [NNAIL-WDHHG103].  You can check out this amazing product HERE. This is the first time I'm using water decals, and it's so easy. I cut the stickers out, removed the top foil and placed them in water for 10 minutes, and then I just applied them to my nails (more detailed instructions HERE). Using this product is similar to putting wet stickers on eggs on Easter. They're easy to use, and the effect is amazing. I applied top coat over them so they would last longer. They're very easy to remove. I now get why everyone loves water decals (it's so much better than stamping). This product is awesome, I recommend it. It's a 10/10.

The polishes I used for this look are by essence, and they're really old - like I said, I need to use up my old polishes, so I can buy new ones. As always, I used essence's Studio Nails High Gloss Top Sealer - one of my favorite products. It gives the nails amazing shine.

Floral Water Decals with Zoya Tomoko and Revlon Popular By polisharmoire

I’ll be reviewing the floral water decals today which I hastely applied just before I jetted off to Australia. This photo was taken in Australia around 2 days after I put them on hence I don’t have my usual black background – do like the white or black background better for manis? The water decals held up quite well and I got my first chip at the 5 day mark. The water decals were also a relatively quick way to spruce up my mani without having to spend a lot of time creating intricate nail art! I have three coats of Zoya Pixie Dust Tomoko, a gold texture polish on my pinky and three coats of Revlon Popular, a pink crelly with silver glitter on my index finger.

The pack of decals comes with 12 nails worth of designs where 6 of them mirror the other 6. They are long enough that you would be able to use one decal on two nails if you have short nails. These decals are also fully opaque so no base polish colour is required. I followed the same steps as stated in the water decal tutorial here to apply them with the only difference being I had to make sure that I trimmed the cuticle end of the decal well. This was because one of the nail decals had printing that was a tiny bit offset. I also had to carefully file off the excess on the tip of the nail using the file included in the pack of decals. These decals can be stretched to fit your nail during the drying process if they end up being a bit too narrow for your nails. If you are like me and use the decals in skittlette manis, one 12pc pack of decals should last you for quite a few manis!

Today I wanted to share these full cover floral water decal nail stickersfrom KKCenterHk.....

The directions are a bit confusing, the images show you submerge the sticker in water than apply it to the nail but the text says to just apply it straight onto the nail. Follow the images NOT the text! These decals are not like regular nail stickers that have a sticky backing.

With these you need to select the size that will fit your nail, there's not many to chose from as you only get 12 decals, cut it out then submerge it into water. While the decal is being prepped, apply your base coat. I tried applying these decals straight to my nails but they simply slid off, so you want to have a tacky base in order for these to apply correctly. Before your base coat fully dries, remove the decal from it's paper backing, apply it to your nail (you'll want to go one nail at a time) and smooth out any air bubbles. Trim off the excess length, don't worry if it doesn't lay perfectly flat top coat will fix that. Apply a generous amount of top coat, and gently press down any wrinkles with your top coat brush.  It may sound difficult but once you try it, it's super easy.

I did notice that the decals cracked slightly after applying top coat, but for me that wasn't a problem. I actually like the look of the tiny fractures because they add a vintage feel to the roses, like old porcelain.
