[EOTD] + [Tutorial] 31. Dezember 2011 *Silvester* by sandys-make-up-box

Hallo ihr Lieben,

da heute Silvester ist habe ich mir ein sehr auffälliges, glitzerndes Eye Of The Day ausgedacht. Auch wenn ich sonst eher dezente AMU's trage ist Silvester meiner Meinung nach der perfekte Anlass um sehr glitzernde Looks zu tragen, da sie wunderbar zum Feuerwerk und den Feierlichkeiten passen. :)

Da vielleicht einige Mädels noch auf der Suche sind nach einem passenden Look für eine Party heute Abend habe ich das Ganze in Form eines kleinen Bilder-Tutorials zusammengefasst und hoffe, dass es euch eine kleine Hilfe ist.
Zuerst möchte ich euch allerdings das Endergebnis vorstellen:

 Zuerst habe ich die Manhattan Eyeshadowbase aufgetragen und danach den 

Catrice Made To Stay Eyeshadow in  010 Pearly Habour auf dem gesamten beweglichen Lid verteilt.

Danach habe ich den Essence Crystal Eyeliner in 02 Dazzling Silver auf das Lid aufgetupft und

das funkelnde Glitzerpuder (ihr konnt prinzipiell alles nehmen, was nicht zu grob ist) auf

den Eyeliner aufgetupft. 

Durch den Eyeliner hält der Glitzer deutlich besser und bleibt dort, wo er hingehört. :)

 Als nächstes gebt ihr einen dunkelgrauen Lidschatten in die Lidfalte, um eurem Look mehr Tiefe 

zu verleihen. Außerdem fahrt ihr vorsichtig mit dem Crystal Eyeliner an dem unterem

Wimpernkranz entlang. Danach habe ich mit dem Essence I ♥Style Liquid Liner einen

schwarzen Lidstrich gezogen. :)

Im nächsten Schritt habe ich die False Lashes ES A856 von KKcenterHK aufgeklebt,

die Wimpern mit der Essence Multi Action Smokey Eyes Mascara getuscht und den
Rival de Loop Young Geleyeliner in Schwarz auf die Wasserlinie aufgetragen. :)

Today I would be reviewing the ES brand Handmade Eyelashes ES A829 and ES A856 sent to me by Kkcenterhk.


ES Handmade Half Mini Black Lashes (ES A829) are reusable and have a clear band. These come in a box containing 10 pairs of lashes (price USD $14). 
Half lashes are eyelashes that are designed to reach midway across your eye. These eyelashes are smaller than the regular falsies and would make a great choice for those with relatively small eyes or if you want to enhance the outer half of top lashline for a cat-eyed effect.
I love the invisible band strip and I'm throughly enjoying wearing them! These eyelashes look very natural on eyes and give a great drama to my eyelashes which are otherwise very thin & need a bit of volume boost.
I wore the ES Handmade Half lashes for my Christmas Eve Look and it felt comfortable and almost felt as though I was not even wearing false eyelashes.


ES Handmade Natural Soft Black Eyelashes (ES A856) are also reusable and come in a box containing 10 pairs of lashes (price USD $16). You can choose to stick them on without lining your upper eye lids as these have a thin black band strip to them. These lashes have thin criss-cross pattern and a great lenght that will instantly give you dolly eyes without much dramatization. These lashes look ultra natural with a light weight feel and are perfect for everyday wear!

The picture below is a side by side comparision of the two lashes. ES A829 looks more dramatic and has got a shorter lash band in comparision to ES A856.

Eyelash ♥ by bijinblair

 I love DUP Eyelashes Fixer EX552 to bits and I have gone through two tubes at the time of writing. It only contain a measly 5 ml, not nearly enough for a lashes fan(atic). Furthermore, it is not sold here and whilst I can get it via e-tailers, the ridiculous markups always puts me off.

Name: Zixianna Eye Putti White
Price: US$ 5.49 for 12 ml
Made in: Japan

Eye Putti is so much more affordable and has double the amount but sadly it isn't anywhere near as good as the DUP adhesive. It doesn't dry completely clear and it doesn't hold the lashes well as both ends of the lashband will fly up after 4-5 hours.

This means that I will be searching for an alternative. Anyone liking Shu Uemura's Eyelash Adhesive?

My sponsor kkcenterhk.com also sent me a box of false lashes. The boxes amount of Princess Lee (公主李) lashes in my drawer are slowly dwindling so I was really thrilled with a replacement of sorts.

Name: ES A856 upper lashes

I chose the A856 style from the ES brand because it bore some serious resemblance to the famous Princess Lee lashes. On the left I have ES A856 whereas the right is Princess Lee cross 6 black.

They are very much longer and the curvature isn't as pronounced as the original but those are the only differences. They retain their original shape very well which means that they can be reused as many times as you wish (remember to remove any glue residue and to sanitize afterwards) and they don't shed.

Needless to say I highly recommend ES A856 lashes. Did I mention that it is cheaper than Princess Lee lashes? No? Well, there you have it (^ ω ~)
