More Lashes From KKCenterHK by makeupwithdrawal

I was given the opportunity to try out more lashes from KKCenterHK.
These are ES brand, called A880. I liked that they're a bit spiky, but still quite natural looking.

The band wasn't as flexible as some of the others that I've tried from KKCenterHK, but still fit reasonably well. I like that the band isn't super noticeable, it's quite subtle and doesn't scream "Fake! Fake lashes!"

As you can see, the lashes are longest in the center and decrease into shorter lengths at the ends.

They're $8 for 10 pairs which is a fantastic value if you wear false lashes often, but does not include glue. Heck, I don't even know where in the US you can get lashes for that price.

Here's what they look like on my eyes.

On a side note, I want to mention that I have made a purchase from KKCenterHK before, with my own funds. My order arrived very quickly considering that the company is overseas.

I'm also wearing:

Brows: NYX Brow Shaper, NARS Bali shadow
Eyes: LORAC Behind The Scenes Eye Primer, MAC Copperplate, Rock & Republic Veil, Rock & Republic Chain Link, MAC Prepped For Glamour, Femme Couture Cake Liner, La Femme Eye Liner Sealer
Lips: Stila Convertible color in Peony
Face: MUFE HD foundation, Chanel Rose Temptation, BECCA Fine Loose Powder

Do you wear false lashes often? Or at all? What style do you like, flamboyant, feathered, natural, etc?

Weekend Nails: polka hearty by thiamere

This was how my nails look like last weekend. I should made the tutorial for this but i have been quite busy recently so i don't get to visit my blog as much as i want to.
*sigh*

Anyway, making this is really easy.
The one thing that made this design such a breeze to do is because of the cute heart decals that KKCenterhk.com sent me.

Here is the tutorial for this design. Please click the pic to see it better.

Materials needed:
  • white polish/acrylic
  • liner brush
  • dotting tool
  • your choice of 3 polish (for the decal base & dots)
  • heart water decals
I used a different color combination for my tutorial but the process is just the same.

  1. I applied a holographic base but you can use glitters if you want to or can just go bare.
  2. Using a white polish/acrylic & a liner brush, i then sweep a thin line at the side of the nail like in the pic.
  3. Then fill it in with white polish/acrylic.
  4. With your choice of polish as a base, apply it on the 1/3 side of the nail... depending on your decals, you can make it bigger or smaller.
  5. Pick your own decals & prepare them.
  6. Carefully apply your decals on the part where you applied the base color.
  7. Pick out 2 colors that you would want your dots to be.
  8. Then alternately apply them on the white part.
  9. Don't forget to finish it up with your favorite top coat!
I love this decal!
It's cute,ne?

If you want to get the same decals, you can head on over to KKCenterhk.com. They have lots of water decals to choose from!

You can use the code BLGA124TH10 for a 10% off your purchase.

Ebalay Nail Polish in 008 by thiamere

Another gorgeous duochrome polish from KKCenterhk!

Doesn't this look nice on the bottle?

Methinks it's so pretty! Not as pretty as the 009 though but still nice.
If you forgot how 009 looks like, here it is.

That's the swatch of both ebalay polishes that KkCenterhk had sent me. These polishes are better for layering over dark bases.

I love duo/multichrome finishes! Makes you think that you have 2 colors on your nails at the same time.

What do you think about this?
Are you digging it?
I do!

If you want to get this shade, you can hop on over to this LINK. You can use the code BLGA124TH10 for a 10% off.

By the way, i received my Spectraflair the other day! OMG!
Just look at those! Rainbow in a baggie! LOL!

I sure wish that i could come up with great holographic franken polishes!

Well,i'm off to my best friend's house for a sleep over. Yay!

KKCenterHK Lace Water Decal Review by tht-christina

Harro :3
Geh, first time saying that. Ever. LOL

I'd like to present to you...

tadaaaa~ (lol)
Recently I was contacted by KKCenterHK to review one of their nail products(water nail decal) and I agreed to it :)
I chose the design you see in the above photo ^^
Because I LOVE LACE <3
It's feminine and classy and the designs are so intricate and pretty. So there you have it.

REVIEW & HOW-TO:
At first, I had no idea what water decals were O.o I received the item and looked at it without any clue of how to use it... Turns out they that work like temporary tattoos for nails! hahaha
I felt so silly ^^;;
So here is the process of how it went:
1. Cut the water decal into the desired sizes
2. Submerge the water decal in water for a few seconds
3. Remove the decal from the paper and place it onto the nail
*the decal does not dry immediately, while wet, you may still manipulate the water decal*
4. Apply a top coat and seal in the decal
DONE!
What I think:
I like these :3 Maybe it's the little high from my first time using it, and because I love lace but.. all that aside, it is simple to use and there are so many designs to choose from ^^
Plus, actual lace nails are a pain to do D: They are absolutely gorgeous but are also time consuming and you need more supplies to achieve it.
So I give this an A+++ :D
If any of you are nail junkies and would like to check out these water decals
go to kkcenterhk.com and see them for yourself :)
Feel free to use the code tht-christina for a 10% discount ^^
BTW! If you like the nail design here, I have made a nail tutorial for this design: Lace&Antique Flowers
Have a goooood day~

Orange Clip in Hair Extension - review + discount coupon! by violinstyle

EN: Hello my Readers!

Have you wondered how did I get that look from the previous post? Here's the KEY.
As all you know tangerine/orange is the hottest color of 2012 - I really love it and that's why I decided to get orange clip in hair extensions from KKCenterHk

PL: Witam Was serdecznie!

Photo0333

EN: One piece is 6" (15.3cm) wide and 20'' (50cm) long. The hair is made from kanekalon. It has good quality and really reminds natural human hair. I like the clip in hair extension, because it gives amazing effect and doesn't damage my hair (it is much safer that micro rings).
It is very easy to apply - you just clip it in between two layers of your real hair, then you can blend it in to make it look more natural. The clips are invisible even when I put my hair into ponytail.
At the end, I would like to add that I comb the fake hair along with mine, it doesn't fall off and still looks great.

PL: Jedno pasmo ma 15,3 cm szerokości oraz 50 cm długości (to naprawdę sporo - do tej pory nie spotkałam takich szerokich i do tego jeszcze długich pasm). Włosy są wykonane z kanekalonu
i przypominają naturalne.

Ebalay - A02 by spektorsnails

In February I was contacted by KKcenterhk and asked if I wanted to test one of their nail polishes. How could I say no? I chose a pretty duochrome top coat called Ebalay A02. It's sold for 6.80$ and contains 15ml. After 22 days I got the package and started to paint right away.

As you can tell, the design is obviously copied from O.P.I.

On the website it says if you apply the top coat over darker base colors, the effect will be better. I applied it over two coats of H&M - Manhunter (Black) and what I got is awesome! You couldn't tell by looking at the bottle but the result is a lovely purple-blue duochrome, if not a multichrome.

Sadly I wasn't able to capture the duochrome effect with my camera, so the following pictures are all my camera was able to do. But I guess you all know how a purple-blue duochrome effect looks like.

Drying time was alright, I had more problems with Manhunter to dry completely.

This is the brush and it's similar to a O.P.I brush.

I was offered a Coupon Code by KKcenterhk, so if you like to order something you can use my code and get 10% off.

Code: spektorsnails
End date: 31. January 2013

This nail polish was offered to me by KKcenterhk for review.

Thank you, spektorsnails.

Sponsored Post: Natural lashes from KK Center HK! by lapindelune

The item in this review was kindly provided to me by KKCenterHK in exchange for review. All opinions stated are my own.

KKCenterHK is a wholesale site which offers a variety of products from false lashes to cosmetics and nail polish/stamping tools. Last week, I received an email from them, asking if I would be interested in reviewing some of their selection of natural looking lashes.

Price: $14.00 for a 10-pair box

From KKCenterHK's site:
Brand New With Original Retail Packing Box
ES 10 Pairs Handmade Glamour Big Eye False Eyelashes
100% New, 100% Authentic, Handmade Lashes
10 Pairs in one pack, black lashes and very thin Transparent stem
Can Be Re-use If You Take Them Off Carefully
Make Your Eyes Look Bigger And Attractive
Handmade eyelashes are very soft
Suitable For Everyone
Can Be Used Party Or Professional Make Up

These lashes were packaged in a black paper/cardboard box with the ES logo on the outside. On the back of the box are instructions in multiple languages. Lashes are held on the box via small gold stickers and extended lash band which is trimmed before wear.

Durability: The lash band is thick and transparent. The lashes hold well on the band and retained their shape after removal. I foresee these lashes having a good 5-6 wear lifespan.

Length/Volume: Compared to my natural lashes, they only extended just a bit past my natural lash length.

Comfort: They're a little heavy due to the thickness of the lash band, so I can feel that they're there, but they weren't uncomfortable to wear.

Design: The variation in length of the lashes as well as the fact that they tapered off at the ends made them ideal for a more natural appearance.

I think the only thing that I could have benefit from were some bottom lashes, but because of the natural length, it didn't make much difference.

Pros:
+ Durable and full in appearance.
+ Gives eyes depth easily without heavy makeup.
+ Tapered ends make lashes more comfortable for long wear.

Cons:
- Thick lash band may be difficult to work with for some. (This is more of a personal preference than anything, though, that does not take away from the quality of the lashes themselves.)

I would recommend these for any person who like me, may be lacking in your upper lashes and want something which both makes your eyes pop as well as provide a boost in volume. Definitely appropriate for daily wear. :)

At checkout you can use my code "lapindelune" for 10% off of your purchase, expiring on Jan 31st, 2013!

Also find them on Facebook and Twitter.
