   I nadszedl drugi tydzien wyzwania makijazowego organizowanego przez Candy Killer oraz Greatdee. Tym razem owocowa inspiracja jest bardzo zdrowa bomba witaminowa - kiwi :)
   Postawilam na oddanie w makijazu struktury tego soczystego owocka, co do kolorystyki to chyba nie do konca mi sie udalo :) szczegolnie fotografujac maczek przy chlodnym oswietleniu... Ale co tam, mam nadzieje ze moja wizja kiwi wam sie spodoba :) Buziaki :*:*

   And here comes the second week of fruity makeup challenge organized by the lovely Candy Killer and Greatdee. This time our inspiration was very healthy kiwi :) In my vision I focused on showing the texture of of this juicy fruit, I wouldn't agree so much on colours though - especially when I took photos in cool light... But anyways, I hope you guys still like it :) Kisses :*:*

N.NAIL 2.5mm Mix Heart Glitter

  

I love the hearts theme in any form so this was a no brainer :) I decided that since I was also working on swatching Zoya's Irresistible Collection, it would be a great accent for these two products!  For this product I used Zoya's Kerry. I love these! It is a HUGE container for only $8! It's gonna last me forever! I have tiny nails so it's a little harder for me to be creative but I still thought of cute ideas :)

N. Nail 2.5 MM Circle Glitter Black

I thought I'd do the black 2.5 mm black glitter because you can dress up any mani/pedi quickly with them! I thought I'd try a sort of french tip with them.  They even stayed on after running my fingers through my cats fur! The polish is Zoya's Rikki. This too is only $8! This will  last me forever too! Sooo happy and can't wait to do more from them!

KKCenterHk False Nails Review By artevolve

 Good morning, dear readers! :D

Today I have a review for some KKCenterHK false nails that were sent to me by their company. :D

I got them in GR18. :) (There are 19 different options!)

They are really lovely nails, and a pleasure to use.  To my pleasant surprise, they came in this very handy and sturdy case:

I cut the ones I was going to use and filed them into a more square shape, then painted them and stuck them on:

One thing that always confused me about almost all false nails I use (regardless of company), is that they are always different lengths (the different nail sizes).  Here is the top photo again to demonstrate:

I am not sure why they do that.  I wouldn't want my middle nail longer than both my ring and index.  So, I always cut them and file them down so they are the same length. :D

This set of false nails retails for $10.87 USD, and contains 500 nails (plus the awesome box).

I really do enjoy these nails, and look forward to using them again. :) 

One thing I noticed is that I find that there are very similar false nails in there, so for me there is barely a difference between size 0-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, and 8-9.  Because of this I could not find an adequate sized nail for my middle finger, and had to either choose a size too big or a size too small. 

However, everyone has different sized nails, and even between my two hands there are significant differences in nail sizes and shapes.  I cannot blame the company or product because of my own nail differences.  I do think that the nails could have more differences between sizes, but I am still very impressed by the quality and packaging.

Overall I do recommend this set, and I am very glad that I was given the opportunity to review it. :)

I Salute Thee By lacquerlackey

Hello everybody!!! Before you say anything, yes I know I’m a day late but damn give me a break!  So, how was everyone’s 4th of July?? I went to my boyfriend’s parent house for dinner and it was delicious!!!!!  She made ribs, beans, salad, corn on the cob, and yes, homemade chocolate cake with homemade chocolate icing and oh yes, it was delicious!!!  I know what you all really came here for, so I’ll cut the jibber jabber.

This post serves as a double whammy!!!  As you know, it was my 4th of July mani and a product review!!! My very first!!!!  I do believe I got the vapors *in a southern accent*  A company named KKCenterHK, which sells numerous items.  They approached me with several options and I oped to do the Nail Star Glitter Mix, which is PERFECT for the 4th of July!  The stars are red, white and blue and quite reflective, like little mirrors on my nails, but less dangerous.  The one I chose is listed as Mix Star Glitter.  As soon as I receive these I knew exactly what to do!!!! Without further ado:

This is just a swatch picture with flash before I added the sparkles, which the white is Zoya Purity, red is China Glaze China Rogue and the navy is China Glaze First Mate.  I love First Mate, I can’t say it enough, you need to get it! BUY IT!

This is the sparkles!!!!!!  Aren’t they so perfect and patriotic??  These came in multiple colors, but I picked these ones out of the tub and it was worth it!!!  See, here’s my problem.  I am not artsy/crafty so when I have to “glue” things to my nails, I’m just going in blind, balls to the walls cray.  I guess I didn’t wait long enough for my base to dry, because the nail glue made the color run and it got on some of the stars.  My bad.  On the review part:  these were easy to work with, I could place them quickly enough so I didn’t glue them on myself.  The only issue I had is that they started to curl about a day after wear, which I assume is from the heat and hot water from showering and perhaps not enough top coat?? I don’t know, but I liked them and will mos def be using them again in the near future!

So there you have it my pretties!!!  4th of July Manicure and a review, what?!  I be mulitaskin’ y’all!

Little Bow Bleep By gnarlygnails

I've just got a little quickie for you today. I was feeling under the weather yesterday, felt better last night, then today the rain hit and left me with a pretty gnarly headache. So this is actually a post I wanted to add a second part to, but I will have to save that for another time and just show you part 1 today.

KKCenterHK - 3D Acrylic Bow Mold

So for todays post I am showing you a mold KKCenterHK sent me to review.

Don't let this fool you, if you have ANY experience with using acrylic powder and liquid you can do this.

Here is how the mold arrives, in a sealed package. It is available on the site, HERE, and retails for $4.75US - which is a great price for a lifetime supply of bows in any color you want!

Here are the supplies used for this, please note I have NO IDEA what these acrylic products are! When I first got into nails, my friend Rachelle gave me a bunch of random stuff she had left over from cosmetology school, so thats what these are. Acrylic powder (clear), acrylic liquid, powdered eyeshadow pigment and the mold. Essentially I mixed half acrylic powder and half green shadow pigment in a seperate container and then I dipped a brush in the acrylic liquid and then into the powder to get a nice sized ball. Pushed it into the mold and made sure to clean up the edges. I let it dry for about a minute or two, just until I could flex the mold and the acrylic didn't flex with it. You pop that out with some tweezers...let me tell you, the reason you dont want this to dry too much is so it's still pliable. If you want it to sit up off of your nail, no problem, but if you want it to bend with the shape of your nail, you need it to still be somewhat bendy. Wait too long and it snaps when you bend it. It's a learning curve that I got right the first time and wrong the second time!

And this is the bow attached to the nail. After I took it out of the mold I grabbed a sanding block and QUICKLY removed any little residual jagged edges and topcoated my nail than I bent it a little between my fingers and pressed it on my nail, holding it for about a minute until it was firmly stuck down all around.
