Hi Guys!
I'm taking a quick break in the ABC Challenge to do a product review on some water decals sent to me from KKCenterHK. Let me tell you I had a hard time picking just one item, their store is full of different polishes, decals, rhinestones and nail care products (AND I better mention their claim-to-fame stock of eyelashes, wigs and other hair care products), I choose the gold peacock feathers found HERE.
This was my first time using water decals. How I applied these was I cut out the image, soaked it for a few seconds in a glass of water, slid it off the backing and placed it on the nail. I should add the the gold is very shiny, it caught the eye of one of my friends, who commented on the high level of detail in these.
These were faster to use and not as messy as stamping. Way less bulky than nail stickers, also easier to place, if you make a mistake you can still slide it to the position you want. The decal laid flat, with no curling (even with top coat on), had good shine and reflectiveness. I also tried scratching the surface to see if the gold print would come off (it didn't).
The product cost $6.39 for 20 decals on a sheet. I feel like these would be great for an important event like a Christmas/ New Years Eve party and you want to dress to impress but (likely will be) going to be short on time.
Thank you, nailcall
