This is a scheduled post, as I'm currently having a great time
(hopefully!) with my boyfriend, on the Metal Camp. I still have some
manicures from my previous vacation to show you, so you will be seeing
one just today. Have a nice day, ladies!
On the fourth day of my vacation, I removed my 'supermani' and decided to fulfill "Rainbowify me's" request on this post and feature those cute little Panda modelling clay sticks on my nails.
The task was easy, I decided to use green as a base color, to represent
eucalypt trees that pandas are always on. It was a great opportunity to
use another Snow White's dwarf, Bashful (forest green with gold shimmer -
lovely!). To spice up the mani, I stamped little "pawprints" on my
thumb, using my Essence plate.
And let me tell you, this is ONE coat of this green beauty, isn't it gorgeous?!
Modelling clay sticks are obviously super cute, but I did have some
trouble putting them on. my nails are quite curved and the panda cut
offs joust wouldn't "lay" on the nail, they kept lifting (even tho I
sliced them as thin as I could). They were however stuck to the nail, so
they couldn't fall off. If you have flatter nails, I'm sure you'd enjoy
these so much! I loved them, but I couldn't help but be bothered by the
not-smooth surface.
These retail for $1.86 / €1.43 / Ł1.16. I mean, that is practically for
free! And out of those three sticks, you can get a gazillion little
pandas! So hop over there to KKCenterHk's webpage [click] and browse! And if you decide to purchase anything, make sure to use my coupon code at the checkout (MOONCHILD666) to receive a 10% discount. ;)
Do you have any experiences using modelling clay/fimo sticks?
How you you like them?
Thank you, moonchild666
