The Rainbow Ladies: Orange

Hi everyone!

I hope you are all okay. I am better than yesterday despite the awful weather. Only one and a half day left until week-end, right? Great!

So let’s walk through the rainbow again today. I picked a very bright, almost neon, orange for my second colour. This is a German drugstore brand called [b] basic, and my orange is #16. Unfortunately the drugstores selling it went bankrupt and I have no idea if these brand will ever be available somewhere else.

Eccoci con un altro appuntamento con le Rainbow Ladies, e oggi è il turno dell’arancione. Ho scelto un colore che mi ricorda l’estate, dato che qua il tempo fa schifo e almeno mi solleva un po’ il morale. E’ un arancio super vivace, quasi neon, della marca [b] basic. La [b] basic era la marca cosmetica della catena di negozi tedesca Schlecker che purtroppo è fallita. Ora si chiama Daily ma non so se tenga ancora questi prodotti perchè dal cambio non ci sono più stata. In particolare questo arancione è il n. 16 della linea di mini smalti. Nelle foto vedete 2 passate senza top coat.

I decided to use this colour as a base for my first attempt with some nail decals that were sent to me for review by KKcenterHk. I have yet to acquire a technique though. I read everybody saying it’s super easy to use them. Well, not for me! In fact I wanted to paint the side of my nail by the vertical line side with black but I applied the decals so uneven that it would have been a waste of time. I’ll have to try again because the designs themselves are super nice. I can’t be so dumb to be the only one who doesn’t know how to use them!

Ho deciso di usare il mio arancione come base per il mio primo tentativo, fallito, coi water decals. Mi sono stati spediti da KKcenterHkun secolo fa! Purtroppo devo ancora capire bene come funzionano sti cosi perchè leggo sempre che sono facili da usare ma io ho fatto una gran fatica. Infatti volevo smaltarmi di nero la parte di unghia verso la linea verticale della decorazione ma le ho messe talmente storte che ci ho rinunciato perchè sarebbe stato ancora più evidente. Devo sinceramente riprovarci e capire come cavolo si usano perchè come decorazioni mi piacerebbero molto.
