There is lots of different colors and styles of half moon manicures all over the internet. And I badly wanted to try out one particular design which is gold at the cuticle area and the rest of the nail covered with creme black or matte black polish. I just really like how it looks! And I want to note that on my nail length it doesn't look attractive at all. So thats why I'm showing this almost rainbow nails today :)
P.S. Hehe~ Yes! I've changed my mani again because muse of inspiration came to visit me :) And if I have any idea in my head I have to do it straight away lol~
To get this nailart I applied a thick layer of top coat to protect my natural nails. Then I applied foil glue to the cuticle line and sticked green and gold gradient part of the foil. After that, with basic black polish I made the "ruffian" effect. And it looks absolutely awesome on shorter nails but since I have quite long nail tips it looked empty and boring. So I messily applied foil glue to the black part and sticked the rest of the foil on top (I mean red and purple gradient). It seemed to me that blue will complement this color scheme a little bit better so I added blue square studs as well.
And here is my final absract ruffian mani look! This Sunday May 5th it's Children's Day here in Korea, so I think this mani is perfect for the holiday :)
E04 colorful nail art foil. Comes in a plastic jar, length 150 cm and width 4cm. It's great quality and I love how bright it is! It transfers very nice and doesn't crack when apply top coat.
TIP: If you want nail art foil transfers to the nails a little bit better - apply 2 layers of nail foil glue. Apply first layer as usual, wait 'till it become clear/dry and then apply second layer of the glue. After everything completely dry apply your foil and it will be perfect!
