This past couple days I got featured on a few web-sites and I got quite a few messages with questions like "How do you do things with such long nails?" "How do grow such long nails?" and so on. I just thought I'll answer all of them once and to those who haven't read answers but still be interested I just will send this link :)
Yes, I have long nails and I still can buttoning a shirt for my son every morning. Because my nails grow "gradually" I have enough time to adjust it. I understand if someone have very short nails and the next day go to nail salon and put some long nail extensions on it will be completely different story. But like I said, my nails get longer little by little and it helps me get used to it.
To grow long nails you have to do only 2 steps: first of all keep your cuticles moisturized and have at least base coat on your nails all the time. Your nails don't need to breath or take a rest of nail polish, without any protectivelayer on (strengthener, hardener, base coat, etc.) they loose keratin and subjected to the brokenness. So keep your nails polished all the time! And other thing you have to do if you wanna grow nails long is be careful. Be careful with your hands and nails! And I know what I'm sayin' right now because I understand how hard it is. I'm going to hairdressing class every day, I work for the home shopping company at the afternoons (I deliver parcels), I have kids, I cook and clean, sometimes I help my father-in-law with agriculture at weekends, I do all this things but I do it carefully! So, everything is possible, just try it :) And I wish to everyone long and healthy nails!
Like I said, I got a new job at home shopping company. Because I have kids and have to go to the beauty school I can't get typical work like other people do but this few hours completely filled in my schedule. Don't have enough time to change my mani like I used to lol~ So I guess this nail art will be accompanied me during the next week. It's a tiger print foil which I really do like!!
Eveline nail polish in Silver Hologram. I bought this one when I was in my mom's place a few years ago. I have 2 thick layers on with clear top coat and it's main background color for the foil mani. It's quite sheer consistency, driesmuch-much longer than regular nail polish should. After 20-25 mins after application it finally got slightly dry and I just applied fast dry top coat to speed up drying process. The holo effect almost invisible, overall I'm really happy I bought only this one!
To make the nail art foil transfer to the actual nail you need nail foil glue. I have this BEAUTY glue which also comes in a set with foil (you just have to select it right), click HERE to see my review on this glue. I also have another one from dollarnailart. HERE is my blog post for it as well. The only difference between this 2 items is BEAUTY glue is a little bit thicker and dries longer and glue from Dollar Nail Art store is more liquid/water like consistency and dries faster. But I like them both, they all works the same. You just have to wait 'till it completely dry, became clear and everything will be great :)
And here is my final look, which is soooo "perfect" to me. I mean I have very deep "C" curved nails and usually I can't use nail patches and all sort of stuff because it looks wrinkly on my natural nails. And this foil transfered really well to my nails! I'm happy with the result!
E27. Transfer nail art foil: length 150cm and width 4cm. Comes in a plastic bottle. The design is opaque by itself and the hologram particals looks pretty. No need words, just look at this loveliness!
I also got a unique coupon code for 10% OFF: mymakeupmania. Feel free to use it, I do not make money through this ;)
