Good eve minna! It keeps on raining here where I live. It's a bit cold but I like it. I love sleeping with this kind of weather. ＿ﾉ乙(､ﾝ､)_
Just a few months ago, KKCenterHK released a special class of false lashes. They definitely give a subtle flair to your peepers and I think they would look natural on anyone.
You see, I so wanted to have brown lashes, especially since Dolly Wink has released their limited edition brown false eyelashes. But, they are 'limited' and you only get 2 pairs per pack.（ ＴДＴ）
So, KKCenterHK were very kind to send these lovely lashes for review purposes. I got them last month but I only got the chance to wear them on the Etude event last Sunday. (^_^;)
Anyway, this will contain my honest opinion on the false lashes. Here are the false lashes, the ES Handmade Brown Natural Short to Long Eyelashes (ES-A553)
First off, I noticed that KKCenterHK changed their box. Instead of simply opening it, you have the pull the inner box from the outer box. It was kinda difficult to return the inner box, compared to their earlier packaging. I wish they didn't changed the packaging.＼(｀0´)／
The box contains 10 pairs of soft, brown false lashes. They are bundled in a very thin and transparent lash band.
The lash fibers are arranged in a simple pattern. Only the outer part of the false lashes are bundled thickly.
The false lashes are already long starting from the inner part of the false lashes. I was skeptic that it would look natural coz our natural lashes are short in the inner corner of our eye, and longer on the outer part.
Anyway, I'm sorry if the following photos are not that clear. My camera got drained so I settled for my camera phone. Plus, I took these photos after the Etude event.
I wore the false lashes for 12 hours. (ノ￣ω￣)ノ
They look like my real lashes but longer. The pattern is simple and it doesn't look fake. It just looks like I'm wearing lash extensions. Hehe! (✌ﾟ∀ﾟ)
They were very light-weight. I did not felt any heaviness or discomfort on my eyes. (*^▽^*)
The false lashes added length to my short lashes. It looks nice when viewed from the sides. o(^▽^)o
Before the Etude event, I met my friend Panda and I told her I was wearing false lashes. According to her, she only noticed the subtle brown on my lashes, but she wasn't sure if I was wearing false lashes. See?
Despite the length on the inner part of the false lashes, they still look good on me. Well, you can trim it anyway if you feel like it.
This is how the lashes look during night time and under flourescent lighting. They don't look brown. ヽ(；▽；)ノ
The false lashes are really suited for natural looks coz the lash band isn't noticeable.
I tried wearing the false lashes for my cosplay makeup trial. The photos were taken using my camera.
Photo above was taken with outdoor lighting. They absolutely look brown. Plus, it doesn't look shiny and fake. ~(＾◇^)/
But, under heavy makeup, the false lashes are not noticeable unless one look closely, just like in this photo.
Would I recommend this?
If you want false lashes for natural looks, then this one is for you. But you can't use this false lashes for nighouts or under heavy eye makeup coz it would be useless coz they aren't noticeable. So reserve this lashes for natural daytime looks only.
Plus, brown lashes is for everyone. So go check out KKCenterHK for other lovely brown false lashes! (´∀`)
Another thing, for the price of USD$21.50 for 10 pairs, this one is definitely affordable. Plus you can reuse them, so you get more value for your money. And, have I mentioned that lashes from KKCenterHK are of high quality? *(*´∀｀*)☆
