Review: M&Ms water decals WDHHK157 by alexa1202

Hello everybody!

Two of my favorite characters are the Red and Yellow M&M's.  I love the commercials with these two.

That's why when the people from KKCenterHk asked me if I could review a product from their site, I immediately choose the M&M's water decals (or as they are called on the store's webpage: The M&M's Doll water decals - WDHHK157).

Let me show you some pictures:

This is how the water decals are packed.
 Aren't they lovely?
They are extremely easy to use (just like any other water decals) and I didn't have any problems when I did my manicure.
Do I recommend them? YES! They are easy to apply and their design is great!
You can find them here.

On their site you can also find many other cartoon water decals, such as: The DalmatiansHello Kitty, Angry Birds, Pink Panther, The Smurfs, Tom & Jerry and many others!
You can also use my discount coupon to get 10% off your order: alexa1202.

Best Sence, 80 by whalesnails

Hello,
For today I've got a polish which I received from KKcenterHk. I was allowed to pick it on my own, so I was really happy to go for glitter (I often resign from buying glitters, because I hate removing them). It's a glitter from a brand called Best Sence, no 80. I think it's cool because it comes in a large bottle (15ml), which is good with glitters because they tend to disappear quicker. I applied it over black base (that's how I love to wear glitters). It's gold, red, blue hex glitter and smaller golden dots in clear base. I used 2-3 coats, depending on the nail, really. The glitter is quite dense but I don't think it'd look as cool on bare nails. I'd say it's good to use it with top coat for an extra shine and to make it dry more quickly. The only drawback is the smell, but I find the majority of glitters to be slightly smelly. Anyway, I truly love this look, one of my favourite glitters in my collection.

                                                                          *  *  *
To lakier z firmy Best Sence, numer 80.

KKCenterHK Nail Strips: Swatches and Review by goosesglitter

KKCenterHK has some pretty nifty nail patches. The first kind I tried didn't seem to work well on my nails, but these are much better! These are basically very thin plastic strips.

Most nail patches I've tried that are not actual nail polish have been kind of thick and tend to wrinkle because of the curved shape of some of my nails (if you want to see what I'm talking about, check here).  These are different in that they are very thin and flexible, as well as a bit stretchy.  They worked MUCH better for me than the others (although still not quite as nice as 100% nail polish strips).

KKCenterHK Nail Patches
As you can see in the closeup, I got a few tiny wrinkles on some of the nails, but honestly I got better at it with each nail I did, stretching it just perfectly to minimize the crinkles. Just like the 100% nail polish strips, these take a little bit of practice. Overall, though, they're pretty easy and the result is nice.

I didn't get a chance to test the wear - I only wore them for a day. The problem came in the shower... one and only one of the stickers started to peel up on all the edges. The rest were still stuck nice and tight. I'm not sure what I did differently on that finger, maybe I accidentally touched it and ruined the adhesive before I applied it. Not sure. They were easy to remove though. They peeled off easily without doing any damage, and left the adhesive as a film on the nails that came off right away with polish remover.

As you can see, they come in a sealed package like Incoco, but since these aren't nail polish I don't think they dry out after they're opened. I'm saving the extras for accent nails, so I'll update this post when I find out.

Overall, I actually really liked these!  The design is nice (although I wish the little "tail" of black had fit onto my nails), and they'd be perfect for a special occasion or night out.  They were much easier to manage than other nail patches and didn't bother me with rough or peeling edges.

These can be ordered from the KKCenterHK site here, along with lots of other cool nail patches!

Nail Art, Water Decals, Tetris by happynailsbymada

The cult tetris on the nails :) But on a black background would look probably better. Anyway stickers are cool although a little less adhere to the nail from the the previous ones and it happens that slightly wrinkled at the edges. How do you like? Base coat is Misa, Dirty, Sexy, Money.

Lakier bazowy to Misa, Dirty, Sexy, Money.

Tutorial - Nail Water Decals by bambina-piccolo

Kisses!

[Review] ES10 Paris Handmade Glamour Eyelashes Review by thebunnyonline

Dearest Bloggies,

Hello there! Long time no see, how have you all been doing?

I do hope you all are doing well, as I have been busy with uni. I really admire you all who are able to blog and do uni at the same time...

Today I have a sponsored review for you. I think this is my first time being sponsored eyelashes to review. This is going to be fun and I do hope you find this helpful.

Before I start reviewing this product, please know that this review is strictly my opinion and does not reflect on anybody else. This product is sponsored, and what ever is written here might not apply to you exactly. So please don't be angry at me... I'm just a Bunny who wants to help and share... 。

Sorry for the reddish eyes, I got soap in them before I took this pics... fail
For those who are wondering why I have bangs and blond hair still here, these pictures were taken a while back. I currently have dark hair... but that's another time to talk about :)

Click the banner!

These lashes were sponsored to me by KKCenterHk, which few of you might have heard about from other bloggers.

These are much less dramatic compared to the ones I use, but it is sure nice and as the name says, GLAMOROUS. They are handmade lashes, and are black colored, but with a transparent stem.

From the time they mentioned that they had send me my item, within 2~3 weeks it had arrived already. I am very amazed with the express shipping and excellent communication with the seller.

The box came in a bubble package, and they lashes come in a pair of ten. There is nothing glamorous about the box, but it sure does keep the lashes intact to its shape. This is really important since these lashes are relatively soft, and can be damaged easily while shipping.

None of the lashes were damaged, and came in very good conditioned. I was really excited when they arrived and decided to use them on my next occasion when I went out.

Product Review Break Down

Comfort: 4/5

As they are very soft, they are comfortable to wear even for a very long time. The only problem I had was the edge of the lash. You will have to cut the clear stem that stick out of the side much to the very edge of the lash. When I did not do this, it poked my eye lid and it hurt pretty bad.

Enlargement: 4/5

Yes, enlargement is an important aspect of an eyelash because it does enlarge your eyes. These lashes do enlarge your eyes, however, if you are a frequent user of long dramatic kind of lashes, these are not for you. But if you are a week end eyelash wearer, these are perfect as they give you a glamorous look, with a hint of charm :)

Applying: 3/5

As these are soft lashes, like all soft lashes, they are kinda hard to apply. But its just a matter of getting use to it. It took me about two times to be able to apply it properly. I recommend to make sure that your glue is dry enough to be sticky, so that its much easier to apply on.

Cost: 4.5/5

A bit on the pricy side compared to the lashes on eBay, but cheap compared to the quality they are! $17.03 for 10 pairs of these are really a good deal!!

Overall:  4/5

These are a lovely pair of lashes. Definitely a fine choice to choose if you are looking for lashes for parties or functions.

Recommendation
Recommended for those who are looking for...
  • Party or Function lashes
  • Not too dramatic, yet not too natural
  • Glamorous
  • Volume

Not recommended for those who are looking for ...
  •  Super long lashes

Sultry Thursday: Classic Black by pinksatinlace

Schaut doch mal vorbei!

Searching for cheap false eyelashes? by passingfancyy

So did I....all the time. I just don't see the point in buying some expensive eyelashes if I'll wear them once or maybe even twice. Ardell lashes or Eylure seems really promising but they are really expensive out here. After I got an offer from KK Center HK to try out some eyelashes with a really affordable price, I couldn't resist. The company really has a lovely variety of false lashes, including Revlon, Ardell etc.

These ES Handmade Glamour eyelashes (comes with 10 pairs!) are a good value for the money and the quantity you get. They are meant to make your eyes bigger so they are full-on noticeable false lashes. They are perfect for night outs, proms or whenever you need that extra attention to your eyes. I personally wear them on a special night out or use them on my clients, who need a prom make-up look.

The eyelashes themselves are pretty stiff and handmade. They do need a bit of stretching with the fingers (all the lashes need to be loosen a bit) but what I like about them is the transparent stem, which means the lashes won't be so obvious at the roots. My only complain is the stiffness of them as I am only a beginner at applying full eyelashes. Indeed, it's quite difficult to use them on yourself so I mainly use them as half-lashes on myself (cut them on different pieces). As for the application on others...it's much easier so I'm confident with applying them full on my clients. I'm using them with DUO adhesive which makes them stay on for the entire day or night (downside: the glue doesn't want to stay on the stem for long so you have to be careful).

And yes, I was brave enough to wear them on my previous Katy Perry make-up look. They did turn out quite nice right?

All in all...they are quite nice eyelashes for the small price but they aren't the best for beginners with false eyelashes. They are currently sold out so that means something too, right?
You can buy them HERE and they have worldwide shipping.
RATING: 3 out of 5 (if only I was an expert at applying eyelashes!)

Take care,
