Easter water color nails with KKCenterHk water decals by melaniesfancies

I received this item in exchange for an honest review.

So tomorrow is my birthday, and St. Patrick's Day is just a few days away but today I'm wearing Easter nails! Yep, I'm early on a manicure for once! :P

I received some water decals from KKCenterHk to try out, and they're Easter themed. So I thought it would be a lot of fun to break out my watercolor paints and paint my nails sort of like Easter eggs. The decals I received are item number N.NAIL Easter Water Decals Nail Art- WDBLE406 [NNAIL-WDBLE406]

I don't have a nice off white polish, so I started with one coat of Chrome Girl Between the Sheets and topped it with one coat of Birthday Suit. Then I just painted on some water color.. which I might add, is kind of neat because if you don't like how it comes out, you can just wash it off and try again.

I found these water decals to be quite fragile. I had to try I think 4 or 5 different top coats before I found one which was usable. Unfortunately, most of my top coats seemed to dissolve these decals at least a little bit. My LA Splash top coat ate the decals completely! I mean literally, there was nothing left on my nail when I was finished trying to use it. In the end, OPI RapiDry Top Coat worked the best, but I still did have a little bit of deterioration even with it. Here you can see where I was practising with my different top coats a little bit before I found one which worked.

I don't think you can tell, but the orange bunny in this picture actually lost half an ear and I had to put the pieces back together again. So not just the top coat made these fragile, they apparently rip easily, too! 

 I'm really happy with how this manicure turned out, I'm just sad the decals didn't hold up a bit better. 

I especially like how these two nails turned out.. except my poor little bunny is missing a chunk out of his head! Poor bunny.

With the nails I also wanted to tell a story. Like a Kawaii short story book.

In winter time lovely panda made snowman.

For lunch lovely panda had a red apple.

For dinner lovely panda has lots of bamboo.

At night lovely panda went to the moon and admire the stars , the sky , the earth. He appreciate it everything and had a good night sleep.

Unghii cu Om de Zapada - Snowman Nails by claudiacernean

    Data trecuta mi-am facut o manichiura folosind sticker-ul cu fulgisori aurii, iar pentru manichiura de astazi am ales sa-l folosesc pe cel cu omuleti de zapada.

    Last time I made myself a manicure using the golden snowflakes sticker, and for today's manicure I chose to use thesnowman one. 

  
   Am avut nevoie de : Un lac de baza pentru a-mi proteja unghiile, un lac albastru deschis pentru fundal, un lac transparent, vopsea acrilica alba sidefata pentru model, sticker cu omuleti de zapada, un recipient pentru lichid, o pensula subtire, un instrument pentru puncte, o forfecuta si putina apa.

   I needed : A base coat to protect my nails, a light blue nail polish for the background, a top coat, a white acrylic paint for the model, snowmans sticker, a liquid container, a thin brush, a dotting tool, scissors and a little bit of water.

   Eu am folosit : BNC - Vitamin pentru baza, Farmasi #112 pentru fundal, vopsea acrilica alba de la 2M Beauty pentru model, Flormar pentru uscare rapida si extra stralucire si sticker cu omuleti de zapada.

   I used : BNC - Vitamin for the base, Farmasi #112 for the background, white acrylic paint from 2M Beauty for the model, Flormar for quick dry and extra shine and snowmans sticker.

   Am aplicat un strat de oja pentru baza, astfel incat modelul sa reziste mai mult timp:

   I applied a base coat, in order that the model to resist longer:

Folosind oja albastru deschis, am facut fundalul unghiilor:

Using the light blue nail polish, I made the nail's background:

Am taiat un omulet de zapada de pe sticker, pe care l-am adaugat in recipientul cu apa, lasandu-l 20-30 de secunde:

I cut a snowman from the sticker, which I added in the container full of water, leaving it 20-30 seconds:

Am inlaturat partea alba a decalcomanii si am adaugat partea cu omuletul de zapada pe unghia degetului inelar, presand cateva secunde, iar in jurul acestuia am facut cateva punctulete albe:

I removed the white part of the decals and I added the part with the snowman on the ring finger nail, pressing a few seconds, and around it I made some little white dots:

Pe unghia degetului mic, am facut un fulgisor. Pentru inceput, am adaugat un punct si cateva liniute, iar pe fiecare dintre acestea cate trei V-uri:

On the little finger nail, I made a little snowflake. At first, I added a dot and some little lines, and on each of them some V-s:
