[Sponsored Review] Cosmos Blush EyeShadow Powder Paper by mikichigo

 Hello~

Long time no see!

I've been a bit behind since I had to leave state suddenly and just got back. Now I'm dealing with the 6 hour time difference and jumping straight back into work. OH THE HORRORS OF ADULTHOOD, haha.

Anyways, this review is LONG overdue and I hope you enjoy it! :)

KKCENTERHK is a long time sponsor of mine and I"m always so grateful for anything they send to me to review. :)
This most recent time, I wanted to try out something different. Something that I've never even gotten close to.

Soooo~ I chose Blush Paper! Cosmos Blush Eyeshadow Powder Paper to be exact!

The color in the picture is a bit darker then the actual product but I had to darken it to show the texture of the paper.

The paper is actually covered(?) with fine shimmery pink powder! It's a very thin sheet of paper and is similar in size and feel to oil blotting papers! Same dispensing too!

You take the sheet and rub it on the places where you'd like the blush to be (i.e. cheeks, eyes, etc)

 One thing I noticed when applying it on to your cheeks is that your foundation rubs back onto the sheet!

 The color is very soft and subtle so in order for you to get more OMPH, you'll have to layer it.

Pros:
Cool concept!
Definitely travel friendly since you don't have to worry about brushes, powders breaking, etc.
Great for adding a bit of shimmer
The color is subtle

Cons:
The color is very subtle and you'll have to layer it with other brushes or more of itself for it to show up
Gets on fingers, slightly messy
The color won't look good on everyone

For the following pictures, I did my usual facial routine of foundation, powder and contouring.
After applying the blush sheet, I layered over it with a rosey blush.

Review & Swatch : KKCenterHK’s Beauty Angel Cosmetics Special Edition Purple Palette By beautyfrontline

Hey Everyone!

Earlier I reviewed KKCenterHK’s Beauty Angel Cosmetics Special Edition Green Palette here, well in this post I will be reviewing Purple Palette.

Price: USD $14.63
Availability: You can buy from here

Both Green and Purple palettes are similar in packaging, color properties. But they are quite different in staying power and pigmentation wise!

Swatches:

GOOD about KKCenterHK’s Beauty Angel Cosmetics Special Edition Purple Palette:
  1. The book like packaging is sleek and cute to use! The magnetic locks at the ends work very well. So the palette is travel friendly a lot.
  2. Comes very handy, palette has 12 shimmery eye shadow shades and 2 blushes.
  3. The eye shadows are very fine and not chalky at all.
  4. The eye shadow shades are very shimmery at the same well pigmented than my Green palette.
  5. The colors last long more than 4 plus hours
  6. Blushes are decently pigmented
  7. 12 bright shades to try this fall!

NOT-SO-GOOD about KKCenterHK’s Beauty Angel Cosmetics Special Edition Purple Palette:
  1.  Blushes doesn’t stay more than an hour
  2. The applicator given is not so good
  3. Available only through online

Overall Verdict:

More than Green palette, I like the purple palette a lot! Full shimmery shades but well pigmented. Staying power is decent, plus at this price the palette is doing very good!

Rating: 4.5/5

KKCenterHK 6 Color Contour Blush Palette By tht-christina

Hey Everyone!
The AHAIShopping Giveaway has ended, I will get to choosing the winner asap :)

Now on to the post, I was sent a 6 color contour blush palette from KKCenterHK to review and swatch for y'all! I've had other palettes but surprisingly I've never had a contour one. I may simply be too lazy to contour on a daily basis and I always have that fear of looking more tanned if I contour(lol typical Asian who doesn't like tanning hurrr).

So here are some swatches and selfies LOL

Okie, So I JUST dyed my hair dark and am not wearing any circle lenses in these photos so I probably look super different from how I usually look :P But tbh, this is how I look daily as I don't wear lenses often, I just tend to wear them for my blog posts. And I actually look my age without lenses LOL

Anywho, moving on, the palette has a white highlight, two beige colors and brown for the face contour. There are two pink colored blushes that you can choose from:

SWATCH

So overall, the colors' pigmentation is quite good! I like the way it is because it creates a natural look.
If you want something that can give a more defined look, you can apply more product.

So that is all.

For all those interested, here's the link to the product:

[Sponsored Review] ES 6 Color Contour Palette and Jealousness Diamond Beauty Lash Series By mikichigo

Hello again!

So, as promised, I'm starting to blog a bit more now since everything's settled down a bit on my end.
Sponsored reviews are easier to do at the moment since it's giving me a chance to play around with my whole set up for pictures and everything...plus I don't really have a life outside of work right now so there's not really anything to blog about...

I suppose I could have blogged about Dragoncon..but meh. xD Anyways! I bring to you a double review that was kindly sponsored by KKCENTERHK.

They generously sent me a few items to review so here they are!

First item up are the Jealousness Diamond Beauty Lash Series!

I stand behind the notion that the start of a great lash is a clear spine! I actually almost strictly wear clear banded lashes because they're normally the ones that are flexible, light weight and blend well (they're clear! DUH). You can find natural ones (once again, CLEAR, it blends well with thin or thick liner), more dramatic ones...actually...you can probably find any type of lash you'd want with a clear band.

            The Low Down:
-These lashes are pretty thick and feather out near the ends
-The base/spine is clear, light and flexible so they're very comfortable when worn
-This particular lash would look AMAZING with a cat eye because of how they flare out
-VERY long. I had to trim the lashes down twice to get them to fit properly (This of course depends on how you wear your lashes. Sometimes I like mine to extend out a lot more)

The Good:
Versatile lashes!
Clear band for easy blending
Light weight
Great for "Sexy" looks
Decently cheap since you get 8 pairs for USD18.99 (About 2.37 a pair)

The Bad:
Can only be found online for Florida buyers
Have to pay shipping
A little on the pricier side if you're used to buying pairs for $1

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next product up is the ES 6 Color Contour Palette!
As you can see, all the powders are pretty decently pigmented so...I'll just jump to what I have to say.
This palette is AMAZINGSAUCE.
Each powder can be used for several things.
Here.
I'll break it down for you.
BEHOLD THE BEAST BEHIND ALL THE MAKUP.
So, we'll talk about the white and the brown first.
The white I use for highlighting and the brown I use for contouring. Pretty simple.
BUT NOW WAIT! DID YOU LOOK CLOSELY AT THAT PICTURE?
Did you notice that one eye has a large dark bag underneath and the other has NADA?!
That, my beautiful readers, is the power of a salmon powder.
Seriously. Salmon concealer and powder is heaven sent for people with purple-y/blue-y under eye bags. (If you're having trouble determining which one is the salmon color, it's the first one on the bottom row underneath the white. :p)
But seriously. Take a fluffy brush and just lightly pat on the salmon colored powder and BAM. Under eye bags. GONE. (This will probably be better then some concealers for people with oilier skin..since it's a powder and all.)
So here's a quick list of how I use this palette.
White = Highlight
Brown = Contour
Salmon = Bags/ Undereye
Nude = All over Powder
Pinks = Blush
The Good:
CHEAP (USD15.67)
The powders are soft and silky
Perfectly Pigmented
Versatile
The Bad:
You have to pay shipping?
Seriously. If you have to get a "face" powder palette. Get one like this.
You have basically everything you need to accentuate your face. Word.
