KKCenterHK review – Love Alpha Eyeshadow Pigments by emilydenisephotography

KKCenterHK review – Love Alpha Eyeshadow Pigments

26th January, 2013 - Posted by Emily - Comments (9)
So I’m back today with another blogpost, this time I’m reviewing products from online store KKCenterHK. They have an amazing range of nail decals but I’m personally a HUGE fan of their make-up! I was incredibly impressed with their single eyeshadows from the brand Cuicu and today I’m reviewing loose eyeshadow pigments from the brand Love Alpha.
Love Alpha is a brand that’s completely new to me, but I instantly fell in love with the packaging when I saw it on the site. There’s 18 different shades in total, I picked three shades that caught my attention.
From left to right: Light baby blue No. 09, Dark Navy Blue No. 08, Gold No. 13.
Check out this pigmentation! WOW! I swatched these on my hand, without eyeshadow base. I was completely blown away when I first swatched these. They are incredibly opaque and easy to use. A little product goes a long way!
Here’s an eyeshadow look I created using just the three Love Alpha pigments. I used the gold on the inner corner, the light blue on the lid and the navy blue in the crease. Capturing eyeshadow looks is so tricky! :DIt’s really hard to translate to pictures, I thought this looked much nicer in person but I hope the picture still shows how beautiful these pigments are.
You can find Love Alpha eyeshadow pigments on the KKCenterHK website, not only are they amazing quality but they’re only $3.94 a piece. They hold 8 grams of product so you are getting a great deal! If you order with KKCenterHK, make sure to save some money by using my 5% discount code: “VERYEMILY”.
Do you like using loose eyeshadow pigments? Or do you prefer regular eyeshadows? Let me know in the comments!

Second row with the darkest blush.

 Product in Action
For this eye look I used the white (inner corner), the aqua/gold (lid and lower lash line), the black (outer V) and the silver (crease).

Review

I was pleasantly surprised by the pigmentation of these eyeshadows. They are all either shimmery or metallic, so matte-lovers beware! But, for those of you who love shine and sparkle, well then this should be a product to consider. Most of the colors are very pigmented and go on as pigmented as they swatch. The two greens and the blue are particularly gorgeous!

Two things that I did not like about this product are the texture and the smell. The shadows have a talc smell that I really do not like. Obviously, you won't smell them when you apply it on your eyes, but just opening the palette is awful because I can smell it! The texture of these is both good and bad. They feel very buttery rather than powdery which is good since it makes them more pigmented. But, this texture also makes it difficult to blend the eyeshadows, so you will have to work a little harder to blend these really good.

The blushes are...meh. They are okay, but somewhat powdery. They are nothing too special in my opinion.

Overall, I really like the colors and the pigmentation of the colors. Would I purchase this with my own money? Well the price is not bad at all, and it is actually quite a bargain for the colors. Be wary of the smell and the possibility that you might have trouble blending the eyeshadows.

Rating: 7.5/10

*Product shown was sent for consideration and review. All opinions stated are my own.

Frozen eye jelly color + manicure by theagnes87

Hej Kochani,
Czy u was tż jst taka spiekota?

Czyli żarówiasta czerwień - róż i dużo brokatu:
A i jszcze jedno, niedługo ogłoszę ROZDANIE, dlatego zachęcam do czytania :)
POZDRAWIAM

China Glaze Electric Beat with KKCenterHK water decals by susyincolor

Hello!
Today I have some water decals I received from KKCenterHK to show you, they are an online store with makeup, nails and hair products. They have a ton of different water decals including some full nail designs, I picked this heart design to try: WDBLE078. And here is what the sheet of decals looks like.
nail decals
To apply these, I cut out a decal and dipped it in water for a few seconds. After that, it easily slides off the backing paper and I positioned it where I want on my nails. I finished with a layer of top coat.
China Glaze Electric Beat
I applied these on top of China Glaze Electric Beat. These lie flat on the nails and I really like that, sometimes stickers curl up a bit and don’s stay flat so I end up picking them off, but these are completely flat.

These were fun and easy to use, it was my first time trying water decals but I had no problems with the application. Like I mentioned, they carry lots of different decals, flowers, hearts, stripes, Hello Kitty, etc., so there are several more I want to try!
You can get these at KKCenterHK, the price varies between $2.64 to $8, and you can use the code susyincolor for a 10% discount. Code expires on 01/31/13.
And here is a swatch of Electric Beat on it’s own.

Thanks for reading and I hope everyone had a nice weekend, enjoy the rest of your Sunday! :)

Review Mascara Love Alpha by KKCenterHK by loverofbeauty

Ciao a tutte ragazze :)

Nome prodotto:Love Alpha- Mascara gel & Fiber Black
Colore:  Nero
Prezzo:$8,11 = 6€ circa
Descrizione:
