Hi Everyone,

After a long break due to my exams,i am back!

Today i am reviewing Flocking powder from KKCenterHK. This review should have been posted a month back but because of exmas i was not able to post it..

Anyways,If you haven’t heard of this company then let me tell you that KKCenterHK is a popular company based in Hong Kong and they have a wide range of nail art and beauty products such as wigs, false lashes, makeup and accessories.

KKCenterHK has a wide variety of colours of flocking powder, I went for Red and black!

This is how the flocking powder looks like.

Powder comes in a strong little plastic pot,and you get quite a bit too! It is transparent so you can see the colour of the powder!

Flocking powder is actually little and tiny fibers of velvet, that's why flocking powder is also known as velvet powder.

Here's a look I came up with.I did Reverse Chevron on my middle finger nail!
As my base color, I decided to use my favorite black and bright red from L'Oreal:Black Swan and Exquisite scarlet.

The nail flocking powder gives absolutely amazing fuzzy texture to nails and when touched they don't feel rough at all.

I was amazed at how easy it is to achieve velvet nails and the end result is very neat! Moreover, the excess powder is easy to put back into the container after use without worrying that it will end up all over the place. And yes,you can still wash your hands while wearing this manicure!! Washing your hands won't ruin your mani :D

First Time Flocker - N.NAIL Lovely Villus Nail Art Decoration In Blue by ithinitybeauty

* This item was sent for review but as always will contain my full and honest opinion.

Allo polish Pals!
Happy Friday, how are you today? Sometimes it feels like we're always at the weekend point, the weeks pass so quickly, don't they? This week I've had my first ever experience using flocking powder. Flocking powder is something I've always wondered about...Would I like the textured fuzzy feeling? Is it even hygienic? I had a few of these thoughts floating around my fish-tank of a brain so I figured its time to stop wondering and time to try it with an open mind. Today I am showing you this 'N.NAIL Lovely Villus Nail Art Decorations' in blue from KKCENTERHK. ~ You'll find a 10% discount code below also :)

For my textured duo nails I started with two coats of Rimmel's 'Azure Blue' to all my nails and created a French manicure using Barry M's 'Prickly Pear' on the tips. Once dry I added a coat of Sally Hansen's 'Wool Knit' texture polish to the tips and created what I hope looks like a blanket stitch with China Glaze's 'Ink' striper pen. I finally applied the flocking by adding my top coat to the exposed part of my nails that still only had the 'Azure Blue'. I the pressed down on the flocking and tapped off any excess. To finish I took a small dry nail art brush to clear of any remaining fuzz to the cuticles.

Verdict: While I think it can be great for making cute fuzzy animals and monsters (any nail art creatures, I guess) I don't think its for me. I can't get over the fuzzy feeling and I am not sure I would enjoy having wet fuzz on my nails every time I wash my hands. That said I know flocking is really popular with a lot of people and I think the quality of this flocking powder is great – a great product for creative minds! ~For a 10% discount use the code 'ithinitybeauty' at KkcenterHK when you check out.

What do you think of flocked nails, have you tried them? Do you like the feeling?
Have a great Friday!
Love
Ithi

Three designs with flocking powder from KKCenterHK by piggieluv

Hiya girls! I have not one, but three designs for you today, all of them are made using flocking powder. I tried to be creative and to think of new things, like a fuzzy bumble bee, a grassy mani with flowers, and some fuzzy shoes. Click to see them all!

I received this flocking powder from KKCenterHK to play with and MY GAWD was this fun! They have flocking powder in lots of different colors but I chose black, yellow and green. I loved making these designs for you and I hope you like them!

Yeaahhhh the first design is very cute and easy to make! I applied a bit of tape on my nail when the Zoya Raven base color was good and dry. Then I painted a coat of China Glaze Yellow Polka Dot Bikini and quickly dipped my nail into the flocking powder. Et voilá! I used my Christrio Scotland detail brush to paint the wings, they're fast, easy strokes and they look a little bit like a cartoon. And there ya have it! A little fuzzy bee :)

This yellow color is pretty neon, I like it that way but I would have expected more of an ochre kind of color.
As always with flocking powder, I'd recommend using a polish with the same color underneath it, to make it look its best. You can apply the polish first, let it dry and then attach the flocking powder with a clear top coat, or you can apply the colored polish and press your nail into the powder while it's still wet.

This green color was just perfect for a grassy mani, but I was struggling with what to put on top of that. I was thinking of all kinds of intricate things when I suddenly realized I have a stash of fimo flowers somewhere... so I dug it up and this is the result!

I used China Glaze Kiwi Kool-ada underneath which is the exact same color. The flocking powder is pretty neon, which I didn't expect from the pictures in the store. Neons suit me well but if they're too flashy for you, you might want to consider this before buying!
And lastly the black flocking powder! This design was the hardest because I kept changing my mind about what to do with it. I tried some things on nail sticks first, because I wanted to do something really complicated with stamping with a ttop coat and then attaching flocking powder to that. Let me tell you know: it doesn't work! Hahaha it didn't even stick a little bit but oh well, I guess I learned something new!

Then I wanted to make a corset but I think it looks more like fancy suede shoes... "Now you can do anything but lay off of my black suede shoes!" (It's from a song by Carl Perkins, later covered by Elvis Presley. I like rockabilly!)
The cute little bow charm is one I got from Ocean Nail Supply. It was really easy to attach with a little bit of top coat and it actually stayed on pretty well!!!

Oh and I used Zoya Ziv for the gold and Zoya Raven underneath the black flocking powder, and OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons for the nude color.

Thanks for taking a look at my crazy nail art and don't forget to shop at KKCenterHK for some good nail art supplies! - See more at: http://www.piggieluv.com/2014/04/three-designs-with-flocking-powder-from.html#sthash.8ivzh4XB.dpuf - See more at: http://www.piggieluv.com/2014/04/three-designs-with-flocking-powder-from.html#sthash.8ivzh4XB.dpuf - See more at: http://www.piggieluv.com/2014/04/three-designs-with-flocking-powder-from.html#sthash.8ivzh4XB.dpuf

Zamszowe / futrzane paznokcie od KKCenterhk.com (dużo zdjęć) by urodomania

Care Bears by poppingnails

When I saw this lilac flocking powder from KKCenterHK I knew I wanted to try it as it's such a nice colour and I haven't seen it in flocking powder form before. Once I got it I had the idea of using it for some Care Bear nails and I'm super pleased with how they turned out.

I did a base coat of Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Barry M Strawberry Ice Cream, Mint Green, Berry Ice Cream and Lemon Ice Cream. For the writing I used Barry M Cyan Blue and for the darker shades on the bears I used Barry M Bright Pink, Spring Green and Yellow. The mouth and freckles are Barr M Black mixed with one of the colours and I also used Black for the eyes, I mixed Snow Me White with all the bear colours to get the face/mouth area. I used the lilac flocking powder on the bear on my ring finger for an accent nail and the rest I top coated. Read more below about the flocking powder.

The flocking powder comes in a round tub around 1 and a quarter inches. I used some flat tweezers to pick up the powder and I put it onto the wet nail polish. I then pressed it into the polish lightly and then brushed off the excess. I did this over the tub so any excess would fall back into the pot and I barely used any powder on the nail. Flocking powder goes a long way so you probably wouldn't be able to use all of the tub up so it's great value for money as you'll get a lot of uses out of it.

I really really love how these turned out and I think the flocking powder looks so cute on the bear as it makes it look soft and cuddly like the Care Bears themselves. You can get this flocking powder for $4.50 or £2.70 and get a 10% discount with the code poppingnails

Hearts for Valentines by o-fata-simpla

Valentine's Day is near so I thought I would show you some manicures for this holiday. I just received two stamping plates from KkCenterhk with some hearts on them, so I am going to use them.

The design is simple, but I think is really cute and you get it really fast. On the ring finger I applied some lila velvet.

For the base layer I used essie 263 full steam ahead, it is the mini version and part of a set summer 2013 collection that I got for Christmas from my sister. It applied well in two layers and in the bottle you can see small glitters, but on the nails it isn't that obvious.

I stamped little heart with the NNAIL-SPPNA07 soft stamping. It is easy and you have tutorials on the website on how to use it, you only need the stamp, nail polish and a tissue. I can wait to test the other designs.

What do you think about the manicure, would you try it?

Ce parere aveti despre manichiura, ati incerca-o?

All the best,
Anca
