Rock n'Love style NOTD using KKCenterHk heart shaped glitter by polished

Hello my dears! How was your weekend? 

If your planning on a special Valentine's day manicure, you might be interested in the review I have for you today. These are N.NAIL Mix Heart Glitter sent to me by KKCenterHK let's check them out!

I'm in love with these little glitter hearts, I tell you! They are around 2.5 mm wide, so they are perfect to make many different designs. They're flat so they hold very well to nail polish and they come in a huge variety of colours, some have a little "holo" effect as well. They come in a plastic pot containing so much I don't think I'll go through all that in my life. 

I have worn these for a day. I have painted my nails with 2 coats of OPI 4 in the Morning and while the second coat was still wet I placed the glitter using a dotting tool, right where I wanted. I chose all the glitter in the same colour because I was going for a look using black and hot pink. I didn't use a topcoat because I wanted to keep the matte finish of the polish, contrasting with the shiny glitter. I advice to seal the manicure with a topcoat because the glitter will hold in place much longer. Also, a clear coat is recommended before placing your glitter, in that way even if they sink a little, they wouldn't be covered by coloured nail polish. That, or be a total matte-crazy and complicate your life as I did, but your mani won't last as long. 

I have also added some silver dots using my BPS silver liner, and I quite liked the final look!
Without topcoat these lasted one day, through all my regular tasks, but the next morning while washing my hair, I lost several in the process. That shouldn't happen if you use a topcoat.

SERDUSZKA By lakierownia

Dzisiaj zdobienie z serduszkami, które pochodzą ze sklepu internetowego KKCenterHk. Jak sama nazwa wskazuje N.NAIL 2.5mm Mix Heart Glitter [NNAIL-Mix-Heart-2-5mm] to mieszanka serduszek w różnych kolorach. Nie dość, że kolorystyka jest różnorodna, to jeszcze produktu jest dosłownie mnóstwo, bo aż 10g. Serduszka widać w oryginalnym słoiczku na zdjęciu poniżej.

Postanowiłam, że do tak uroczego gadżetu dodam równie urocze elementy, czyli pastelowe tło oraz krzyżujące się paski. Lakier, którego użyłam to Essie Bikini So Teeny, który chyba nigdy mi się nie znudzi. Mimo, że mam mnóstwo lakierów różnych marek, zawsze wracam do Essie. Nawet zastanawiałam się, czy nie wykorzystać do zdobienia Meet Me at Sunset, ale przecież całkiem niedawno pokazywałam go na blogu. Może na walentynki zrobię takie połączenie? Zastanowię się nad tym.

Hunger Hearts - Effie Trinket Nail Art! By naileditnz

I got this cute little container of hearts to play around with from KKCenterHk, and ended up with the most extreme, colourful and over-the-top nail art ever! They looked like something you'd find in the Capitol (from The Hunger Games) and in particular, on Effie Trinket's nails.

While I identify with Katniss more, I still LOVE these nails! They stayed on really well too; I decided to change my nails four days later and they were still perfect - not even any tip wear.

If you look closely, you'll see that I accidentally used silver hearts on the right hand instead of light pink. I guess it was too reflective in my room! I started out this design with a rough idea of what I wanted, but the idea just kept getting crazier. Initially it was just going to be a gradient on each nail and one heart of the corresponding colour at the top. But then I decided to make it three glitter hearts, and then there were suddenly hearts everywhere.

The hearts are 2.5mm across and are just adorable. These are probably one of my favourite things I've reviewed from KKCenterHk. There are so many hearts in there too - I'm not going to bother to hazard a guess. You won't run out. The variety of colours is great; it means that there is so much you can do with them. A Sweet Mani for a Sweet Girl By nailistayco

Hola chicas! Hoy les traigo un look dulce que hasta puede parecer un tanto cursi! Pero ¿a quien quiero engañar? Si yo soy bastante cursi =P !!!...Comencé aplicando dos capas de Rosa Pastel de Bissú. Este color me gusta mucho porque es un rosita bien bajito pero de muy buena cobertura. Además tiene como que unos tintes lavanda y eso lo hace único!

Encima de Rosa Pastel, apliqué una sola capa de Girly de Revlon. Este glitter sandwich es muy traslucido por lo que yo recomiendo siempre aplicar un color base. Lo padre es que lo puedes aplicar sobre tonos claros u obscuros y se ve bien :) 

Con una sola capa, los glitters de Girly brillan mucho! así que para atenuarlos puse una capa de Manicure Francés de Maybelline Forever Strong Pro (es el clásico rosita traslucido del manicure francés). Ya así ya quedó como quería. 

En mi dedo anular hice una accent nail con Keep Calm, Paint On de China Glaze y con ayuda de cinta adhesiva, unas tijeras con corte en zig zag y Cloud Nine de Color Club, hice un patrón en zig zag. Los corazones son de KKCenterHK del potecito que les presenté anteriormente.

Hello girls! Today I have a very girly manicure to show. I started with two coats of Rosa Pastel by Bissú and then one coat of Girly by Revlon. Girly was shining a lot, so to mute it a bit, I added one coat of French Manicure by Maybelline Forever Strong Pro. My index finger has Keep Calm, Paint On by China Glaze and then with the help of tape and some zig zag scissors I did a zig zag pattern with Cloud Nine by Color Club. The hearts are from KKCenterHK from the small pot I showed you before.

Todo este tierno manicure lo hice pensando en Talia Joy, la chica que perdió su batalla contra el cáncer la semana pasada. Siempre es impactante ver a alguien que vive con algo tan triste y aún así decide ser feliz. Así era ella y creo que por su alegre actitud ante la adversidad es que todos la recordaremos. El viernes pasado Nicole de Nail Polish Wars organizó que todas hicieramos un manicure color menta en honor a Talia, porque su ultimo post en Instagram fue una foto de un manicure en este color, y fue impresionante ver cuanta gente lo hizo!! Seguro que ella se sintió contenta de ver que tanta gente la seguía! Y fue hermoso ver que tanta gente se uniera a recordarla de esta manera. Yo la verdad no traía nada de ganas de usar el color porque casi, casi me lo acababa de quitar, pero pues bueno, este mani en verdad es en honor a ella <3

You probably have heard about the passing of Talia Joy due to cancer. Although I hadn't heard of her before she died (yes, I have been living under a rock, he he), I wanted to join in someway to the Mint Manis for Talia Joy tribute that Nicole from Nail Polish Wars put together last friday. I was amazed by how the nail community got together and shared their mint manis in honor of this girl! It was beautiful to see... I'm sure she was smiling down on all her followers. I wanted to do it but I really wasn't feeling the color at the moment. But I did this instead, thinking of her <3

 Ukoliko vas zanima nail art ili jednostavno želite isprobati nešto novo i jednostavno, onda isprobajte KKcenterhk Mix Heart Glitter. Ja sam prilično neiskusna i lijena kad je u pitanju nail art, želim da manikura bude što jednostavnija, a i nisam osobito spretna. Y is for Yellow Sub-Mandarin By nailistayco

Hello dolls! I have totally forgotten to tell you that I'm now on Pinterest, Bloglovin' and Instagram :)  so we can stay in touch more! I don't know if you guys had noticed the icons on the right side of the screen ;)
For this week's challenge I have Yellow Sub-Mandarin by Catrice to show you. This is a bright orange color, it's lovely, I like it a lot especially this time of year. The formula is usual Catrice perfection, no complaints at all. And their prices are very accesible. I'm still wondering when will Catrice's new line arrive to Mexico? I already have a few on my wish list, I keep checking and there's nothing new :(

 

Hola chicas! He olvidado por completo mencionarles en los posts recientes que ahora podemos estar en contacto a través de Pinterest, Bloglovin' e Instagram, además de Facebook, claro. No sé si ya habían notado los íconos en el lado derecho de la página. ;)
Para el reto de esta semana les presentaré Yellow Sub-Mandarin de Catrice. Es un naranja brillante muy lindo para esta época del año. En cuanto a la fórmula, nada que reportar. Ya conocen la perfeccion de Catrice! Y ni que se diga de sus precios! Son muy accesibles. Lo único que me tiene un poco desanimada es que no veo para cuándo va a llegar la nueva línea de Catrice a México...siento que ya tardó mucho y no veo que surtan nada nuevo. :(

 

 

I embellished three nails with  Le Invader by Cirque. Remember that colorful glitter from my last post? that one. You know while using this polish it was the first time I could smell the lavender and clary sage oils that all Cirque polishes have! The scent is subtle though, it doesn't last long.

 

The other two nails have these tiny glitter hearts by KKCenterHK. They come in a pot with multi-colored hearts. You can check them out here. They also have another pot with stars and they're soo cute! I like that you can use them as studs and they're not bulky, I know a lot of you don't feel comfortable wearing studs and these do the trick!. Decoré tres uñas con Le Invader de Cirque, ¿lo recuerdan del post anterior? es ese glitter colorido! ¿Saben que con este esmalte fue la primera vez que percibí el aroma a lavanda y salvia que se supone que tienen todos los esmaltes de Cirque? Es muy sutil así que antes no lo había notado!

 

En las otras dos uñas usé unos corazoncitos de glitter de KKCenterHK. Vienen en un potecito con muchos corazoncitos de varios colores, están muy lindos y lo que más me gusta es que parecen estoperoles, pero no hacen nada de bulto, ni se caen, ni nada y cumplen muy bien su función de decorar.
