Vintage Waters by moonchild666

When doing my second vacation mani, I didn't have a lot of time, so I opted for Full Nail Water Decals (Cashew Pattern) that I received in the package from KKCenterHk to avoind waiting for the polish to dry.
Honestly, I thought that I was gonna have to do a lot more trimming due to my small nails, but I managed to get away with minimal trimming (gals with nail beds bigger than average might find these decals too small).
Basically, what I did was I cleaned my nails with polish remover, to remove any greaseness (very important), trimmed the decals to fit my nails, soaked them in water and appled them on bare nails. Once the decals were in place, I dried them with a cotton pad and the decal was stuck! More or less, you still have to be careful at this point. There is also a tiny nail file in the set to file down the excess decal. Finish off with a generous amount of TC and you're good to go.
There were however a few problems with these. When placed to my nails and dried, the decals ripped a tiny bit at the edges (while filing). Luckily, you couldn't notice anything from afar. The second problem was with lifting of the decals at the edges. When I applied TC, the decals kind of 'shrinked at the edges and lifted, so while the TC was drying, I had to keep pushing it down with a brush. When the first coart was completely dry, I used another layer of TC just to even out everything a little bit more and add some shine (the decal literary soaked in the first coat).
As you can see, there was no major problems. After all, the final result is beautiful! The desighn is just gorgeous in my opinion, the color is perfect and it represents just the right amount of vintage and modern. ;) Although, the whole process is probably a little bit trickier and longer than applying a regular nail polish would be. After all, you have to see if it fits, trim it down, place it, file it... You know the drill.
The removal is really easy and quick, just like with a regular polsih. These decals also "melt down" when they come in contact with a nail polish remover (as I already said, these are mad from actual polish).
And if you are not a fan of this design, they have TONS of other ones - modern, vintage, classic, funny, everything! These particular decals retail for $8.52 / €6.56 / Ł5.30.
Check out their selection [here] and if you end up ordering something, make sure to use my coupon code  (MOONCHILD666) and save 10% of the total price! ;)

Do you like full nail water decals?
Do you prefer vintage-y designs or modern?

*Water Decals in this post were sent to me for reviewing purposes. I am not being paid. My opinion is honest. Everything else in this post was bought with my own money.
