Argyle for Thanksgiving by chitchatnails

Happy Sunday Lovely Ladies,
For those of you who live in Canada, you are celebrating Thanksgiving Long weekend.  I have many MANY things to be thankful for: my family, my health, my friends (the list goes on).  This year we are being treated to a turkey dinner at Peter’s Parents’ house, so I’m thankful for a ready-made delightful meal also ;)

When I sat down to do my nails yesterday (yes, this is my long weekend NOTD), I was excited to try a few NEW items in my stash.  You see, the super sweet Carmela from Polished Indulgence (and I know she is a kind soul because I actually got to meet her in person) sent me essence Grey-t To Be Here.  In addition, Jasmine from Colour Coated sent me Candy Lacquer Argyle (a long time lemming, in the package I mentioned in yesterday’s post).

essence Grey-t To Be Here is a gorgeous warm-toned grey (the only greys that look decent against my skintone).  This is a two coater, and with the rounded essence brushes in these cute bottles, application was a breeze.  Furthermore, check out the shimmer in this polish!!!!!  It has red/bronze/orange glass flecks that are visible IRL on the nail.  What a stunner this polish… HONESTLY!!!! :D

Candy Lacquer Argyle was/is a highly coveted polish for me.  I cannot believe Jasmine was sweet enough to send me a bottle *fist pumping in the air*
This polish has white, black and metallic turquoise rhombus (cute little geometric name) shaped glitter as well as white and black bar glitter… all the elements for the ‘argyle pattern’.  Truly, this polish is AMAZING! The colors, the unique shapes, the clear base for endless layering options *squeeeee*
For the accent nail I added some KKCenterHK bow water decals which were sent to me for review consideration:

I LOVE these bows.  I’ve said it before and will say it again,  KKCenterHk has some of the most unique water decals of GREAT quality.
They are so edgy (pun intended) looking… you know, more square rather than bubbly and girly.  This set contains four different types of bows (five of each). I assume they are designed to be used for accent nails because of their number.  If you wish to do a full manicure of identical bows you will need to get two sets ;)   Also, these water decals attach to the nail surface immediately (they are NOT the non-stick) so placement of these is KEY (once they are on the nail, they cannot be moved about).  You can pick up your set HERE (use coupon code CHITCHAT for 10% off at checkout ;) )
(I added a square rhinestone in the center of the bow also) ;)
And one last look at Gey-t To Be Here on its own :D

I didn’t originally know when I would be able to queue up this post, and then I thought… well, why not today!?
Now I’m off to pack for the Turkey Feast ;)
Hope you are having a GREAT, healthy and safe weekend!

Do you have a glitter/indie polish that you just LOVE!?
Do you like it when a cream polish has that little extra ‘oomph’ with glass fleck shimmer?
THANK YOU FOR READING!
