Hello everyone! Today I've got a review for you of my first ever product from KKcenterHk! A while back (a long while, actually) I was contacted by the company to chose a few items to try and review, and the first thing that caught my eye were these matte studs. I have lots of studs in my collection, but none of them were matte, which I thought was a really interesting concept.
You get 50 studs in each package, and the retail price is $5.28. I think this is a fair deal considering how long these will probably last me! I never seem to go through studs quickly. These studs are 5mm, so they're fairly large, which I actually really liked.
I decided to pair these matte studs with a matte polish - go figure! ;) I reached for Mentality Polish (another big shocker lol!) in Sparkplug. I love this polish! It's like a burnt orange shimmery matte, like a suede - so gorgeous!
Man, do I miss my talons. :( And this wasn't even the longest they got! I can't wait until they get this long again. Anyway, I added topcoat to my accent nails because I knew I'd be using nail glue for the studs anyway. My nail beds are super curved, so the studs stuck up a bit on the edges, but they held really well with the nail glue, and I didn't notice the edges catching on things as much as I'd feared they would. Pleasantly surprised!
