Checkered Nails: Manicure using Water Decal Stickers from KKCenterHK by thehappysloths

Hi guys, I hope you are all having a good start to your weekend! Today I have a super cool and modern checkered manicure featuring some water decals from KKCenterHK. The color combination of this checkered design water decal set ($5.75) feels very hipster chic so I paired it with a simple white base to really show it off. This set of water decals comes with 20 pieces of designs, some are meant to be worn near the tips of the nails and some near the cuticles. I had to trim a few to customize them to the shape of my nails. For my base color I used a white cream from American Apparel called "T-shirt". The water decals were fairly easy to apply but because some of them in this set is a tad bigger than usual water decal designs, I experienced a little bit of puckering though the problem is mostly fixed with a thick coat of top coat.

You can notice a tiny bit of puckering on my middle finger (left side).
