Lately, I've been seeing foil nail arts and it has intrigued my interest. Thanks to KKCenterHK I got a chance to try it out!

Thoughts: Let me tell you, I did my research before choosing this product. I looked through the video they had on KKCenterHK website, as well as, through YouTube. It looked simple enough. I'm no nail artist but I'm sure I could do it or at least I think. So when I got the product, I was stoked!

A closer look at the foil. It's a gorgeous blue color and people who know me well knows blue is my favorite color.

The one I asked for came with a small glue.

Here's a closer look at the brush. I was stunned at what I was seeing! The way the brush moved I realized it not use it.

Here's what I did with the foil. I painted 2 coats of L.A. Colors in Live on my ring finger. The rest of the fingers I used OPI in Yoga-Ta Get This Blue!. On top of OPI, I used the foil and topped it off with Butter London P.D. Quick Topcoat.

Now for my overall opinion... I really don't know where to start. First of all, this is actually the second week of trying this foil art. I've seen videos and saw pictures from bloggers. They all look real good! I don't know what's wrong with me!?!? I cannot figure this out. If you guys have suggestions, PLEASE feel free to tell me! I would love to know. :) Okay now for what I think about this product. First, I was sadden that the brush was not straight. When I tried using the brush, it would spread out and paint glue on my skin. For that reason, I ended up using my nail art brushes (N.Nail synthetic fiber nail art brushes). It was easy to use and apply onto my nails. The hard part was removing the glue off the brushes. I ended up ruining the handle of one of them. That's my fault and no one else. Secondly, the foil is really thin. If you scratch accidentally on it, it will rub off the backing. Even with that, it's extremely easy to apply the foil onto your nail and remove the backing. Once you remove the backing, it's drop dead gorgeous on the nails. You can see the diamond shapes and the different color blues. Then I sealed it with top coat. Once the top coat dried, my nails felt sticky. Two days later, I could still feel the tackiness of the glue on my nails. I'm not too sure if it has to do with the thin foil paper or the glue, but I noticed the foil did not last that long on my nails. With each hour, I noticed less foil. On the third day, I had none but the underneath nail polish. This is my own personal experience. I haven't met others with this experience. For that reason, I have a feeling I'm doing something wrong.

Pros:
* Comes in a variety of colors and shapes.
* Thin foil.
* Foil was easy to use.

Cons:
* It's hard to find in stores.
* The brush of the glue was not straight; made it hard to use.
* Easy to scratch the foil off the backing.
* Tackiness from the glue lasted several days on my nails.
* Foil came off gradually.
