Today I have a review of some studs I was sent from KKCenterHK for you!
The studs are 2mm in size and come in a pack of about 50. These particular studs are light pink and so cute!
I don't have much in particular to say about them, except to be careful if you add top coat, it will smudge the color of the studs if you're not very careful. And I also found it difficult getting the studs out of the little pack they come in, they were stuck to it from static electricity, which was honestly a little annoying. I would much prefer if they came in a little box instead.
For this mani I used two of my new polishes, A-England - Bridal Veil has been on my wishlist for quite a while, and finally I bought it from Norway Nails! It's such a pretty black, and opaque in one coat. It's full of scattered holographic shimmer, which I was not able to capture :-/ But I think the sun is coming out tomorrow, I can't wait to see it in sunshine!
The adorable pink is from OPI's Couture de Minnie collection, I bought the mini set of ebay, and now I regret not getting the full sized bottles. They are all so pretty! This light pink is Chick From Ears To Tail. The perfect shade of pink missing from my collection. It was slightly patchy though, so I needed three coats for complete even coverage.
After my base had dried, I taped off the pink nails and painted a stripe of Bridal Veil and before that had dried I placed the studs. I finished it all with a thick layer of top coat, but I did take the pictures first, incase I would smudge the stud color, which I also did a little ;)
I really like the combination of this bubblegum pink, shimmery black and pink studs. Cute rock chick? ;) What do you think?
