KKCenterHK Stamping Plates Review + Tutorial By erinzi

Hey lovelies! Today I two nail art for you using two very different types of stamping plates, the traditional one and a new one that can transfer images without the stamper or scratcher. It's my first time using this, and I realised it's very different from the stamping plates we usually see, so I made a pictorial for you to get a better idea how this works : )

First we have a mani I did using the new stamping plate, it's described as a 'soft stamping' on the KKCenterHK site. I used OPIMy Vampire is Buff as my base, Konad black stamping polish, butter London British Racing Green and OPI You Don't Know Jacques! for stamping. Link for the plate.

How to:
1. paint the image with the darkest color you choose.
2. get rid of the excess polish by pressing the stamp towards a paper repeatedly, I used A4 paper here.
3. pick off the regions where you want the second color to be on the stamp using a toothpick.
4. apply the second polish on the stamp.
5. repeat step 2.
6. the finishing image on the stamp, press the stamp against you nail and slowly roll it over to transfer the image.

The most amazing thing of this plate is you can have multiple colors in one stamp, but this also means the polishes you pick need to be more opaque and suitable for stamping as well, as you can see the green I used was suppose to be a dark green but came out really bright on the nails.

My second mani was done using this plate from KKCenterHK, it has different images and sizes of bows, skulls and anchors. I used two of the bows here, the one on my thumb is a slightly larger size. I stamped Essie Penny Talk over a black polish, loving the metallic bows over black, girly and classy, haha.

The plates I used in the post are from KKCenterHK, and as my readers you can use this coupon code ERINZI10 when you shop at KKCenterHK and you'll get 10% off your order : )
