march challenge: flakes by iloveprettycolours

Hey everyone!
Today's theme for the March Challenge is Flakes.

For this manicure I used Rimmel London Aye, Aye Sailor as a base and on top of it I added splotches of one of KKCenterHK's foil that I received for review. In order to create a distressed look, I left almost no glue on the brush and dabbed it around on my nail. Afterwards, I applied the foil.

What I love about this foil is that it looks amazing in the sun. It has a holographic shine to it, but it's not really linear.

I did a "genius" move and I applied matte top coat on top. Talk about failure...

I'm overall really satisfied with this product. Like I mentioned in my previous review the application is foolproof and very easy. You can create various looks and apply it on top of many different colors, not just dark ones.
I have to mention that you should add very little amount of glue on your nails. Last time, I added a regular coat and my nails were getting stickier by the minute, especially after every wash of my hands, even though I had applied top coat. This time that didn't happen and my manicure lasted a couple of days before it started wearing off.

Overall, I'd recommend this foil. It's very versatile in my opinion and very easy to apply if you want a fast mani. You can get it here for $6.92, or as a set with small glue for $8.86 and large glue for $10.80.

You can get 10% off your order over at KKCenterHK using the code: "iloveprettycolours".

The product was sent to me for review. However, my opinion is 100% honest and is not affected by this.
