Aztec Nails By mymakeupmania

Since my nails are long and naturally C-curved it is difficult for me to stamp full image at a time. And today Idecided to try it again because I got lots of awesome QA series image plates from KKCenterHK store.

"AZTEC" Nails
I'm not sure if I like this mani in general because I like it when everything is perfect, all lines and all details have to be close to perfect. When I'm at work, all people often look at my hands and I always want it to look pretty muchperfect. It is really different design to me and I think I could wear it a few days.
To get this design I:
1. Applied nail whitener and base coat to protect my natural nails.
2. Applied 2 coats of pastel lilac polish.
3. On top of my main background color I sponged some other pastel colors (orange, yellow, pink and blue).
4. Stamped aztec image.
5. Sealed everything with top coat.
TIP: before stamping apply first layer of top coat because if stamping goes wrong it's really easy to fix everything by removing it without causing damage to main background.
I think this pattern would looks better on darker background...
BK Tutti Frutti polish #10. 2 layers on without top coat. Creme finish. Such beautiful lilac color with pink cold undertone. The formula is nice, it applies easily and dries quite fast for creme polish.
I used this shade for the main background color.
Lets take a closer look to the image plate I used for my NOTD. It is QA11 which has 9 different patterns. I've tried all of them and so far they all transfers perfectly! Nice engraved image plate.
