Review: KKCenterHK Flase Lashes by lookwhatthebatsdraggedin

Something a bit different, I have a lash review for you! It's been a while since I have posted makeup on here which is a shame because I like doing the posts.

Before I get started on the review of the actual lashes I do have to comment on the state the package when it arrived to me. The whole bag was crushed and to my horror, not even sealed with tape, only a small piece of string was keeping the contents inside! 

As for the product, they where wraped in a small piece of bubblewrap which really did nothing to protect them. One lot of the lashes where crushed beyond use.

Now onto the actual lashes, I was approached by KKCenterHK.com and they asked me to review 2 pairs of lashes of my choice. I chose ES 5 Pairs Handmade Black Half Luxuriant False Eyelashes [ES-A503]and ES The Bright Peacock Paper Eyelashes [ES-PAPER-3].

For the size of the lash, they don't really have a lot of flexibility along the band, even after bending it before applying it. I had to trim excess bits off the band where there where no lashes and it looked an awful lot like fishing line, so that explains the lack of flexibility. However, once on they do look quite nice and very natural, adding a nice boost to the outer corner of the eye, I just do wish the band blended a bit better.

 ES 5 Pairs Handmade Black Half Luxuriant False Eyelashes [ES-A503]

Having never used paper lashes before these where an odd experience, but if you are an experienced lash wearer these shouldn't be to hard to apply. I did have to trim these down to fit as I have rather tiny eyes, I cut off the outer 2 'feathers' and the long piece on the inner side. You don't need a lot of glue for these as the paper softens and becomes a little fragile until the glue is dry. If you wish to reuse them when taking them off, I found it easiest to dab some eye makeup remove along the lash to soften the glue until it pulled off with no resistance.

Overall, I did like the lashes. The peacock ones are definitely more for photoshoots or a fun themed night but do require a bit more experience to apply, the half lashes are good for everyday wear as they are very comfortable and natural looking.
